Lucy - man I am SOOOOO excited for you!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE try update on on Tessa ASAP after the birth! You know how impatient we are

So my mom will obviously be here for the birth since she arrives tomorrow night. So she'll be coming to the hospital with us. Initially I wanted her in the room for the birth and DH said absolutely not as it's a special family moment and he wants to be the only one there.
So I decided to give that to him as I thought it was quite special that he wanted it to be just us for that moment.
The more I think about it - I do think it's best this way as I can imagine if my mom is there, she will want to see the baby and hold him etc etc ASAP and I worry she'll sort of push DH out the scene a bit!
So how do I tell her (without offending or upsetting her) that she cant be in the room for the birth? She may already have assumed this and then there is no problem. but what if she is hoping to be there?
It'll be a bit weird to sort of say 'ok well I'm about to start pushing so can you get out now?'

Sorry to just but in here... Lucy, my friend i cant believe your little girl will be making her entrance into this world on Friday, felt just like yesterday you announced your BFP... Goodluck friend x x x x x

Schatsie - Your belly is growing or rather (as I like to think of it .... Arno is growing!!!) Just sounds better. Well if you are anything like me the next 4 weeks growth is going to blow your mind. I literally could see a difference everyday!! scary. I will get DH to take pics tonight ...... now just for that dratted cable!!

Kimika - Yippeeee for left boobie being flavour of the day again - LOL!! Very clever Mommy to give it when he was all sleepy

Meags - I am certain it will be sat or sun!! Yeah my tummy is hard and I had a nasty BH this morning that hurt like hell, but luckily only a once off ...... lasted about half an hour though.
Well my slate has been confirmed for 7.30am on friday so no more nightmares and she'll be here bright and early. Hoping I'll have time to recover and have a shower before visiting hours.

Ohhhh I am getting excited. It is weird a calmness has swept over me today. I am not stressed anymore and I am not even worried about having major surgery. What will be will be........ and I believe it will be good!!

I think its great of your hubby to support your original desire for natural birth.. it makes me believe that he actually listenend to you somewhere along the line I keep telling you Matt will only come on Sunday.. pls believe me

Re the girl that commented.. is she a friend?? I mean seriously, ppl who know you and care for you should really consider taking your feelings and emotions into account too. As for your evil stepmom.. she also prob knows it will tick you off is she says you have long to wait.

Jessica, hehe.. your life sounds very much like mine at the moment Bathtime and bedtime for both boys take forever!!! And instead of hearing the call for Milo Im hearing the call for Melkie

Cath, lotsa ladies do morning bathtime. I just feel evening bath makes a clear ending to daytime for baba and beginning of bedtime. Also they are all warm and snugly for bedtime after a bath. You can alwayd do both

MIstymom, sounds asif you had a great shower Great idea that hubby helped with the gift ideas.. he should know best what you guys need The spa days sounds bliss!!!

I didnt have more issues with R not taking my left boob.. it was sooo full and he took it while sleepy and since all has been great I think maybe he was just full each time ? Or maybe a wind? He is such a windy little rascal

Still havent been able to get to shops to look for an outfit Getting a bit stressed about the timefactor. But I have orders to do for almost every day this week. And on Friday I have R's 6wk chekcup with paed.

Well I was sleeping so nicely and then my phone rang at 5:20am! I was so confused (I answered half asleep). It was some guy phoning about buying my car and needing personal details for change of ownership etc. Eventually I woke up properly and realised car is in my dad's name so he should be phoning him rather!
But anyway-good start to the day since he is buying the car today! Not the initial asking price...but hey...at least the thing is sold! yippee!!

Schatsie your tummy look so lovely and that drawing is so cute!!!! I always wanted someone to draw on my tummy and no one ever did...also would have liked it painted in pretty patterns or something. So glad that guy came back today for more hand over almost time for ML for you - you must be SO excited!!!
oohh goodness thinking a max of 2 weeks is too depressing!! I'm hoping he comes before the weekend is over. My mom arrives tomorrow evening. So I hope the stretch and sweep either puts me into labour that night or the next day or that if I do the pressure massage on friday that it works this time. I am desperate now!!!
Sat in his room for ages last night just sitting there...(I couldnt sleep) and just cant wait to rather sit there staring at him!!

Lucy that is a nightmare!!!!!!! I hate dreams like that - they are so real! And yes, one does wonder just how much bigger can we really get??? I feel for you though with your tight abdominal muscles....it must be really sore. But just 2 more sleeps for you!!! so jealous you KNOW she'll be here Friday It is just so exciting!!!!!!!! Feels like its me having Matt
I also believe pets "sense" something. So whenever my cats are all over me I think "Ooohhh they sense Matt is coming - maybe my waters will break now" - and nothing happens...hehe I am so hopeful trying to pick up on ANY signs!

so today I am not going to be doing much...just resting and need to take a few outfits out the hospital bag as Im only going to stay 24 hours instead of 2 days.
