Emsmom I like that moses basket!! I had looked everywhere for one, I'm really tempted to get one!!! Sooo cute re the baby dream!! Glad re Em and hoenstly I know what you mean with snoep people it's very irritating when people offer to get things (often the 'big' things) then when push comes to shove they're all slow about paying for it! Ugh!

Schatsie that is horrendous about your pain!!! i hope you get some relieft soon.

Meags - just a thought - should you maybe deal with the issues behind the lack of intimacy rather than going straight in to deal with the symptom (sex) as opposed to the cause. Often sex or lack of it is a symptom? Also, is your dh keen to work on this (he sounds quite happy with the status quo) does he want to change it it can't just be you pushing for change. I say whip him into counselling and get to the root of the issues! Good luck!!!

Kimika hectic re Reuben but glad he's growing hey!! We have that to look forward to lOL! WIlliam is settling beuatiuflly - I think?? - not that I have much experience. Last ngiht for example he slept from 9.30 ish til 2.30 then was up at 5.30 (my fault I didn't finish the feed fully at 2.30!) but for me that's totally manageable and he had 2 nights of being very niggly from 6-8pm-ish but none since then!

Betty thanks for asking apart from the 2 nights in the first 10 days haven't cried or had reason to cry! William is such a perfect little boy and I'm loving every minute of motherhood it's sooo awesome I aLSO LOVE seeing him and his dad together and love everything abuot W - his expressions, his smell, his little hands and feet he is just perfection personified!! i haven't been 100% with his ruotine so am going to start that in earnest tomorrow (i.e. the 6am, 10am, 2 pm, 6pm, 8 pm bath and 10pm last feed then feed on demand at night) but we've been doing it about 80% Had a friend over for tea this morning and the family is coming over for a braai at 4pm which gives me and dh and w time to chillax between now and then as everyone is bringing something.

It's been sooo hot in joburg the past 2 days OMG I am so grateful the heatwave only started after I was done being pregnant!

Who is next!!!

Betty - have a look here, www.ctsb.org.za/products-page/baby/ - I just got my moses basket yesterday, with the stand with draws. Its STUNNING! And the stand is the right shape to hold the babies bath as well. they also do the linin and mattress.

Schatsie, why not go to a physio? Glad you got your fun spending day yesterday Its always nice.

Meags hon I'm so sorry for all the hassles you've been having with DH. It must be so hard for you and the stresses you've been through during this pregnancy. All I can hope for is that once Mat is here that things do in fact get better.

Sorry for anyone else I'm forgetting.

I'm having an angry week-end, our accountant messed up so I didnt get my salary on friday - which is not helpful., My MIL still has not spoken to my FIL about paying for the carseat - so I've bought that and they were meant to pay us back, and well that more out my budget I hadn't planned on. So this week-end I had all these plans, which I couldn't do cause we had no spending money.
Sigh.
But at least I got my stunning moses basket - its all set up next to the bed now ready for spec to arrive.
I had a dream last night about having a little boy - we were at the shops and I took im out his sling and he was the most beautiful baby I had ever seen. He was laughting when I gave him kisses. So sweet. Think baby knew I needed a sweet dream after my upset yesterday.
Em has thankfully not thrown up since friday - she has a high temp yesterday, but is still active and happy. So she spent the night with her granny last night. I got to sleep in this am which was nice.

Morning girls

Phew, I had the worst night EVER! My pelvis pain was so bad that I literally wanted to scream every time I had to turn and walking to the bathroom was agony - I had to walk like an invalid, one tiny step at a time. Then I still woke up around 2h00 and was nauseous and vomited. I said to DH this morning I feel like finding another gynae who will be willing to take baby out sooner, This really is agony and tha back brace didn't even help, neither did a pillow between my knees. So I feel like a zombie today.

Meags the pelvis pains you get after a few hours of lying on your side sounds similar to what I have.

Faw sent me a pic of her gorgeous baby, but I can't find my spare USB cable for my phone at the moment, so will only be able to paste it tomorrow. Unless one of you can PM me your cell number and I can MMS it to you?

Shame man Faw, you really have not been having a good time, but I think things will be a lot better when you go home today.

DH and I had such a lovely day yesterday!! Decided to splurge a bit on some special things with my work baby shower money and finally went to the Toy factory shop in Parow. It is HUGE and they have SO much stuff, so we were walking around in awe. Didn't get the big bear we wanted, but they had lovely mobiles, so we got one with the cutest little bears for above A's change station. (The sleep training lady said not to have anything above his cot, cause when he is there he needs to learn that it is only to sleep.) Then we also went to Treehouse and got some lovely wall and furniture stickers of, you guessed it, bears! Then we went to Paarl where they were having a wine festival. It felt super strange to like for the first time ever go to a wine festivl and do NO wine tasting, but it was a lovely vibe and we had some nice snacks and sat chatting for hours.
