Poor poor Faw is having an absolute nightmare experience! She was told that the labour is not progressing since her body stopped producing oxytocin. So they took her to GS because they didn't have it at False Bay. Then when she got there they had no bed for her!! Can you believe it?! She's been in labour for over 23 hours now, with no pain relief! She says she just wants her son and her own bed now. I feel SO sorry for her! Listening to all this makes me really greatful that I have medical aid and can go to a private hospital! I could never have survived through all this trauma she is going through!!

Mistymom, you're officially my hero! First you helped me with the bear border from Game and now with feeding bras! I went to the WW sale (I had no idea it was on until you told me) and they had the bras you mentioned for R55 (previously they were R120!) and the best part was that they had them in my size!!!!!!!!!!!! What a miracle! So I sommer got 5!! I literally paid the same for those 5 as for one of the Carriwell ones, so they are definitely going back. They weren't all that comfy anyway - not like the pregnancy ones. And I decided to start wearing them now already - they aren't any more uncomfortable than normal bras! So yay, I will have perky boobs again tomorrow.

Emsmom hmm, sounds like something could be happening on your side too... keep us posted!!

I think EmsMom may be the next one after Faw...then I think it's between Lucy and Anje. Dont think there's any hope for me! This baby seems too comfy and I am not uncomfortable (apart from the haemorrhoids) so ya...I dont think anything is happening here.

Cath I admire that you have even left Will a couple of times already! I have a friend who literally did not leave the baby at all until he was over 3 months old. She then left him with her mom to attend a wedding. She was so anxious and edgy to get back home the whole time that eventually she did just leave!
She never puts the baby down. as in NEVER. when he sleeps, she either carries him or puts him in the sling. at my baby shower she was so upset that everyone was fussing over another friends baby and no one was fussing over hers. I had to try explain nicely that its because the other baby was often in the pram so we could all hold him, whereas she was always holding her baby so it seems she doesnt want people to touch him!!

I wonder what I'll be like!

Schatsie - That belt looks very interesting. My back pain is due to problems with my back, first diagnosed with arthritis in my back in my late teens. So I am wondering if this would help or not. I do have a brace but wouldn't fit now Perhaps I'll wait until tomorrow and see what gynae says my date is ....... please please soon!!

Meags - Also do the chiro thing all the time (even when not preggy) but my tum is just too hard and won't twist at all. So he is battling to really get to my problem. Typical!!
I think having the expectations for DH may really help - good luck. I hope your slight improvement with the grapes continues to get better and better.

Faw - Thinking of you, trying to beam you some energy and strength.

Emsmom - ooooo are you next?? Would you like it to be now, or do you want spec to sit tight for a bit longer?

I know I am missing so many people and comments, please forgive me. So shattered with exhaustion that concentrating is near impossible.

My dh fed W while I went for a massage, blissful, but missed W terribly! Oh no it's starting! I'm one of those moms who can't bear to be away from their babies LOL! He is such a cutie!!!! And putting on weight soooo nicely the little angel love!

Going to make lovely homemade hamburgers for sups and watch a video - and WIlliam of course

funny how you ladies with the little bumps are having these giants. my baby will probably just be an average 3.3kg or something even though I look so huge!!

Wow EmsMom! You really are a good oven... Your babies get nice and big . Well, so am I, it seems. With that accurate estimate I get the idea your gynae is very good and so is the ultrasound machine. I also wonder what your body is up to...

Meags, i have sent it to you, please yell if you dont understand what I have written. Also what I would suggest is write a list of what you expect mael to do for you during the labour as well, so he has that on hand.

Rakker - Em gained 400g a week in the last few weeks. She was 3.5kg at 36w5d. when she was born. And they were spot on with her estimate.

Kimika, I'm glad all is going well, and hope Rubeuns nose clears up soon. My Dr will let me go to 4.5kg - unfortunately he is now on leave till the 4th April, so I dont think he will be the one to deliver but he made sure to book us with a partner who is pro natural.

Amy I hope all goes well for you. What is size of baby now? Wont she be bigger because of the gestational diabetes? Maybe then a c-section is the best way forward?

I've been having BH like crazy today! And light period pains. I'd love to know what this body of mine is up to....
