Meags - lol thanks so much about the information re placenta - I feel normal again... so should I ask dh for a picture to show it? :) I hope they sort you out re the meds. You are similar to me - I sweep it under the carpet and then weeks later everything hits like a ton of bricks! Lets hear what you DH says...

Cath - thanks for info on circumcision - :) you are making motherhood sound divine! and I think your emotions are so normal.

Emsmom - nice dream, but a goat ? lol! shoo on the BH - definately coming close now, hopefully baba waits until your sister arrives. Meags helped me out on the placenta, doctor never answered my questions when I asked anyway.

Rakker - re the good bad and ugly - nice on the award, grr on car service, and horrible about sinuses - shame man. I am the same on unpaid maternity and I technically got a decrease (not happy at all) because they are taxing benefits :( so really understand.

Kimika - so cute about the angel kiss explanation on the salmon patch- you also have been so positive - still on a high from the birth hey which is awesome, makes me want my lo here now hee hee :)

Anje - ow about the wax - sorry man,I am just veeting now... please come update us about your scan.

Howdy ladies

wow you've been chatting up a storm. I've just beeen so drained its been hard to reply to you all. Going to give it a bash now :)

Meags, I really hope you are able to sort out the issues with DH. Maybe also explain to him life does not end with a baby, but it can not only be his that continues. Once Mat is here you can both go out and party and have people round. But you both need to be doing the same amount of work with Mat, and not just one.

Cath, you seem to be doing so well, its amazing! And I think the tears are normal, you are so overwhelmed with happniess and emotions that they need an outlet :)

Rakker, I love your good, bad and ugly - shows dispite the bad and ugly you are still so positive.

Karin, so so soon for you now! Glad we'll have another LG in the gang :)

Tazzy you are also doing so well! Glad I'm not the only women who bounces back from a c-section :)

Schatsie, how are you feeling now? I got that lower pelvic pain once baby had turned - so maybe that's whats happened.

Claire, I've never heard of that before... maybe ask your Dr exactly what it means?

Misty thanks for the pics of Riley. How are you doing otherwise? So looking forward to meeting you Sat!

Um, ok now I'm lost and cant recall what else has been chatted about...

Last night I had my first strange dream - I dreamt I had a lovely short and painfree labour - and delivered a perfect little girl. And then suddenly she was a goat... no idea what the hell was going through my head!
Anyways. Otherwise its going well this side - my body is def preping for labour - my BH are coming more often and are more intenese.
My little sister arrives in 2 weeks, so looking forward to seeing her :)

Personals only as far as I can read, OK?

KarinM, how exciting! At least you know when your LG will be born. OK, I know things can happen before then, but at least you have a "no later than" date. With me is all just a guessing game. If my LG comes when her brother did, she will be here by 31 March. If she goes full term, she will be here on 5 May. And of course any date before and after those 2 are possible. That really frustrates me.

Schatsie, good luck with that terrible pain! Don't know how you stay sane :side: .

Cathm, hope the hormones settle soon. It is not nice to not feel yourself. Enjoy your time with your gorgeous LB!

Kimika, is the salmon patch on the eye ball itself? Thanks for updating the list. You can add the following info for me please. Name: Cherise. Next appointment: 8 March. And let me do the guessing thing, although it depends on when she will arrive: 2.9kg (assuming 5 weeks early).

Meags, I really hold thumbs for a 360 degree turn around for your DH. Let's hope he wakes up and see what a great wife he has in you and realises that you deserve better.

AFM: The good - I am receiving an award at work. Not really sure why, but I'm not asking questions. It includes a gala evening and hotel accomodation (will see if LG will stay put long enough for me to attend). The bad - I have to get physio for my sinusses as I have had a cold for more than 2 weeks now and it just doesn't want to clear up. The ugly - I have to pay R4300 for a service and repairs for my car. Thank goodness I didn't do it at Audi, because I could have ended up paying double that as they charge crazy amounts for just plain services. There goes all my plans to get rid of my debt. And I have unpaid maternity leave...

Alexander (the Great) born 17 Feb 2009, now a little man:-)

Cherise born 20 April 2011, mommy's little angel.

ooohhh yippee Anje!!! we get to find out how much our babies are weighing :p
sorry about the wax still being sore!! ow!! I am booking for mine next week. had my last wax about 7 weeks ago and the hair is still not all back so think if I do the wax now - I will still be fine for the birth.

ladies how weird is this...
I had a dream that I had broken glass in my mouth. like small shattered pieces and the dream really dusturbed me as there were so many small pieces of glass and I kept trying to spit them out and it was just always there!!
so I googled it and this is what it says:

Broken glass in a dream can represent shattered expectations.

If you dream about being surrounded by, walking on, or having to eat broken glass, you may have experienced a painful experience in waking life. Such a dream can also be referring to hurtful comments that other people have made. You may have been denying your pain in waking life; your unconscious is using this vivid imagery to force you to confront your feelings. Eating broken glass can be a sign that you are trying to hide your pain (by swallowing it) rather than face it.

To dream that you are eating glass, highlights your vulnerability, confusion and frailty. You may have difficulties in communicating your thoughts across and getting the right words out. Alternatively, it may symbolize your hurtful and cutting comments. Perhaps you have been hurt or disappointed by something that someone had said. Or you need to be careful in how you phrase and word things or run the risk of offending others.

weird hey!!

Hi all, hope everyone is well.

I again do not have time to catch up.

Just quickly want to say congrats to Tazzy and wow, A is gorgeous !! Your C-Section sounds so easy, I am starting to consider it again.

My gyne appointment has been moved to 17h00 this afternoon and I cannot wait to hear what the dr says. I had my full wax yesterday (Before I knew my appointment would be moved) and it was really sore and is still sensitive - this is the first time ever that it is still sensitive a day later.

Have a great day ladies. Will try to catch up tomorrow afternoon.

haha.. Meags, I also cried like that when Pietertjie was born and I had to watch them bath him the 2nd day. (hubby did first bath as I was too sore). I cried so much because he cried that I could barely see through the tears :) Like I said, silly!! Now bathtime is my fav time of the day, not even a bit of crying can put me off!

I remember when my first one was born, I wasnt really coping so well ;) so went to stay with my mom for a few days and I was crying my eyes out when we went back home .. hehe.. now looking back I feel so silly :)

So it was about time to change my tickers :)
