Joli-beautiful story.my dr scanned and also showed me my closed cervix and mentioned placenta being low but the fact that i will carry full term makes me very happy.I love the fact that you say baby b,maybe your prayers have been answered.Our dr didn't want to say anything about the gender but the baby was opening her legs so much that if there was a willy he would have said so I think it is a girl will just wait till week 18 for comfirmation.

Hi preggie buddies! I reached double digits, whoo hoo! 10 weeks today. Can't believe I am this far already. Now for the next 2 weeks to pass so I can be in a safer zone and see my little bean again. Although it's more like a big prune or a small lime at this stage .

MS starting to go away, thank goodness. Still feel quite bad in the afternoons, but I manage. Just got this stupid bacterial throat infection now for which I am drinking antibiotics. Had a sore throat for a week that only got worse. This morning it was just so painful I couldn't take it any more. So off I went to the doctor. Hopefully it will start getting better by tomorrow.

OK, back to work (or pretending to work...).

Will everyone pls just check I now have the right dates up for you!! Im not sure if I got everything as it should be xxx

Karin, really nice name!! I also like the uniqueness Will hold thumbs that hubby likes it. Oo and your tummy looks great!! Mine is almost the same size, just more saggy and flabby

HELLOOO MEAGS!!!!! So great to have you back Thanks for the Genesis update! Nice to get some inside info. I kinda think that if you decide to birth at Genesis you really have a natural approach to giving birth.. thats why they wont do epidurals that easily.. also if they start handing them out soon they will be flooded with those requests. Also they prob have to call in a aneathesist especially for it. (it was me who was told they have never needed to use their NICI facility.. or should I say transferring ) But its still a great facility and Im still going to have a chat to hubby about it. Ill just wait until he has written his exam and is more relaxed !

Sorry bout your cat.. poor thing! How long must the thing stay on for?

Cath, sure sounds asif you are in great hands!! Im not sure about the whole booking of beds thing.. if Genesis say only after 32wks then yuo prob have to wait.. I mean even if you book for the 2nd the chances of you going into labor earlier or later is almost 99%.. and that goes for anyone else who books their bed.. Maybe its best to phone them and ask them about it? What happenes if all their rooms are already full by the time you get there? When we were there a while ago on the Sat to see Maryke they only had 2 moms that already have given birth.. so it was really quiete and peacefull.

When I gave birth to my son, fortuanetly I came in at 10 the previous night for the induction and got a nice labour room. But by the time he was born the following afternoon at 1 almost all the rooms were full!!! And during that same time there was 4 babies born with the same surname as us! We had to very clearly mark our boy Not that I would mistake that little angel face for any other baby!

Schatsie, its a hard one.. with my son we went to the Fetal assesement centre and she could tell us just over 12wks that it was a boy. Our gynae's scans are not that clear and she could only tell at 16wks. This time little guy pinched cord between legs at 16wks so we still coulnt see.. So really dont get your heart set on it.. if you find out at 13wks see it as a bonus
