MistyMom, I dont think the stress of a newborn should bring on a heart attack. I know he does have a high stress job.

Then again, the healthiest of people who exercise and dont have stress can have a heart attack.

I guess at this point they are saying heart attack but a post mortem might reveal something like a clot that went to the heart or something.

I dont know how she is going to cope.
This last week I have just heard such sad news at all angles

My friend who had her baby 2 weeks ago, her brother died on Monday. He also has a baby of 4 months old.
Then SH news of the twins and now this news.

It's just awful

thats awful meags!!! omg that poor mother! Do you think the stress of the baby bought on the heart attack?? That is so so sad! How do you deal with the joy of your newborn you have wanted so long adn then loose your DH.

ladies I am so sad
My DH's cousin and his wife have been trying for a baby FOREVER. I think about 6 years. She is a midwife so extremelly broody.

Anyway, they finally fell pregnant and had the baby last Friday so he is 6 days old.
Her husband passed away today at the age of 34 of a heart attack!!!!

I cannot believe it. I really feel so so so sad for them

oh and also just to put everyone at ease, not sure if you saw but it seems SH lost the twins just after 12 weeks, she just didnt have any symptoms of it so those past 12 weeks, try relax

@ Meags - ty for all the bottle advice! And also about the book you mentioned on my other thread. Will look out for it! YOu so right about been choosen as parents...it really hit me yesterday when i saw that tiny little heart pounding away for the first time! Such a priveledge!

@ Joli - dont stress! I am sure what Meags said is true! And tell them afetr your 17 week scan! Gives me hope that I can keep my tummy hidden for that length of time! I would prefer to have my 3 month probation over before I tell but that will but me at about 18 weeks!?! Its so sad that us ladies have to go through this and your boss seems to have such old fashioned thoughts! Really like we have enough to stress over in our pregnancys than telling our boss! Braces are good at 13. I had twice in my life - juniour and high school and i think that the first time was a waste of time as i did not wear my retainer after! Hence in high school again. ANd they were worth every bit.

@ Kimika - glad your dad ok and project got finished! Typical men!!Glad scan all good! Its so exciting having it done, and puts your mind at rest! Lol re the sex. I am so glad have decided to have it as a surprise! And the funny thing is I really do not mind either way what i have! Just want a healthy baby!! I owuld love 2 so guess having a boy first (big brother) would be best, but really do not mind. Can totally beleive you forgetting to pee! Sure I will as well. IN fact after reading your post set a reminder on my phone for next appointment!!! And so glad she will deliver the baby, but wow back to work after 2 weeks???? Presume it is not her first??

@emsmom - enjoy dinner tonight at inlaws...and sure Joli will be looking out for the fruit! lol And wow on BF for a whole year! That is amazing!!!

@ mommy-jess fingers crossed all comes right with the medical aid!! There is a thread on the ladies corner about cravings!! Think I posted mine there! Avo and chocolate milkshakes!! How healthy!! We have dstv. What is top tv like?? What programes/channels do you have?? How much is it? Dont think we will ever change as DH is glued to SS!

ok better go as DH will be in soon and need to put on the coffee for him. BTW - my sense of smell has been so accute the last week, have to hold my nose when doing the filter coffee and opening the fridge!!

No wonder I got a urinery tract infection last week...must be all those bits of wooly scarf floating around my uterus!
