I gave DH the pic of our scan to scan for me at work and then email to me (i struggled for ages last night to do it at home). Anyway just got in from work and checked my emails and got this from him. I must explain that he is a HUGE MANCHESTER UNITED fan.

We managed to determine 3 things from the visit to the doctor:



1. the chipolata is healthy

2. the chipolata is indeed a chipolata 19mm long/tall whatever?

3. the chipolata is definitely a United fan!

Joli, she smsed me that she will ring me back, so Im still waiting, will phone again tomorrow morning. She will prob be full for this saturday so Ill try next week

Meags, same happened to me, when I went for my annual pap-smear it picked up thrush and I didnt even know! I fell pregnant in the cycle after treating it but Im just scared it comes back and I wont know! Uhm I feel the same about not being able to wait to find out the gender!! I think the gynae noticed I was freaking that she couldnt see the gender.. lol.. she was really digging in with that probe But again, I guess if all is well with baby I def cant complain.

Im giggling at you girls thinking its a shy little girl! My son was DEF not shy!! He flashed it from 12wks and for long periods at every single scan! Even with our first 4d at 16wks he was playing with his tools So either you are right and its a girl, or if its a boy you will already notice the difference in personalities..

Mommy-jess... Im seriously holding thumbs for you that the broker will get it through! But it does sound promising Hey Im also on sour things Was with my son too! I now drizzle vingegar or lemon juice on EVERYTHING! lol.. Made fish last night and completely drowned it in lemon juice... yyyuuummmm!!

I keep on thinking its Friday Prob because my original appointment was only tomorrow.

Meags - Thanks for the update! I can't even wait for christmas day to open my pressies, there is NO WAY I will be keeping the gender a surprise. LOL!!

just a quick update with my medical aid drama, i finanly got hold of the consultant/broker that helped me, and she said that I should send her a Email the day I have gone to the gynea and just tell her that I went for a check up and that I am pregnant, and she will handle everything from her side, she will take the responsability and that this is not the first time she has done this, so lets see.

I had the most devine roll, salami, cheddar cheese, fetta gherkins and lettuce.....but now I just wanna sleep!!! lol

what are your cravings like? I know I like granidilla stuff, and fresh tomatoes, i eat them like it is going out of facion, but has to be the italian tomato, not the normal one. I also have a thing for "sourish" things. normally i have a very sweet tooth!

once again going off the subject, but who has Top TV? I have, but want to know what you think of it? I think its brilliant, lots of my favorite show's on there.

She will be 10 weeks on Saturday

She is suffering terribly with morning sickness and sleeps her afternoons away and her mom is keeping her busy.

Things have been hectic since she came back from holiday but she says she will be back on Moomie soon!

I cant wait to know what babies everyone is having and cant believe EmsMom and Joli are not going to tell us who else was going to keep the gender a surprise??

I am DYING to know. we are not able to buy very much due to the move and the gifts for the baby shower will mainly need to be toys and clothes but I just want to know and name it and just buy a couple of things

Kimika - I agree with Joli .... must be a shy little girl if she is hiding her privates!! So glad everything is well.

Joli - I think 13 -15 years is usually the optimal age for braces, good balance between being able to move the teeth and enough growth to be new mature size etc. Oh and responsible enough to wear the retainer afterwards .....Meags!!! But it also depends on what is wrong.

Emsmom - Exclusive BF for a whole year - WOW!! That is amazing, I didn't even know it was possible!

Meags - Thanks for finding out about Meemo. I agree genetics play a big role but was worried about making the situation worse! I have gone and read again and it seems NUK is good for developing the jaw muscles and pigeon is the one recommended orthodontically. But I am starting to think it is just marketing!! I'll see what takes my fancy of the 2 when I am in the store.
