Guys sexyhexy from the Jan/feb group lost her babies today She was carrying twins and was 16 weeks. I am just so sad for her, it's awful

Joli, I had a terrible headache last night but think I was dehydrated. You can take 2 panado's 4 times a day. (so every 6 hours)

Jess, I think I am going to book a scan at Maryke in the next 2 weeks especially since Joli says she saw the sex at 12 weeks already, then I hope by 14-15 weeks she can see for us!!

2 days without a car for me going to try borrow my brother's tomorrow as I want to start getting everything ready for the baby shower on Saturday.

Ladies, I have not bought anything for the baby except for the sling!!!! And I dont plan on buying anything until we get to USA in January/February. I assume I'll get the smaller things like cloths, toys, dummies etc at the baby shower here.
Cant believe you ladies are already planning on buying prams etc!!! I feel so disorganised

Hope you all having a fab day so far. The blob today seems to be giving me happy hormones, so I'm in a really good mood today WooHoo, lets hope it lasts!

Jessica I think its natural to hope for what you already have and know. You have a boy, so you know how to deal with them. My dad only wants girls, cause thats what he know.

I know DH would prefer a little girl, but end of the day healthy mind and body is all I can really ask for.

I was so sure with Em that she was a boy, that I asked said "what??" to the Dr when I gave birth and he told me I had a daughter. But within 1 day I thought to myself "what would I even have done with a boy"

I really wish we had a genesis in CT so I could go for my scans. Although I'm nowhere near as longing for the enxt one as the first. We'll go at 12 weeks for the downs, then only again at 22 weeks for the fetal one. After that we can choose when we want again. Saves us some cash then.

Its gone from stunning weather to raining now, but even that I'm happy about, feels like a summer rainy day to me I'm loving it!

mommy-jess - sorry but you've got that wrong. He doesn't charge R100. The first 3 visits are R800 each and thereafter it's R450 per visit (so only from your 4th visit you will pay R450 per visit). You will also need to pay him cash and then claim back from medical aid.

I am totaly Blown out of the water!

I called DR Mia's offices at Genesis just to see what the consult charges are and he only charges R100.00 including scan!

Dr Engelbrecht at Wilgeheuwil Hospital is charging me between R970.00 and R400!!!! I actually feel ripped off.

I also would like to get this Maryke's details and see when and what time I can see her.
