I haven't heard from my soon to be ex husband in ages. He called me this evening to say that he will be sending all the childrens things and my clothes down this week. I hope he isn't lying. It will be so nice to have my stuff back. I finally got mY wedding ring valued. Im glad i did before i really tried to sell it. Its valued at r8000 and i was going to sell it for half that, so im gonna sell it for r7999 instead. The right person will buy it im sure. My engagement ring i lost one of the stones so didn't get it valued. Want to replace the stone first and then sell it too.
Anyway he wants to talk to me so in the middle of the night he will call me to talk. I am really not keen on it, but if he is nice ill talk to him. I don't think he will be coming down on thursday, but i won't bother asking. Ill record the conversation.

Tazzy- I agree, go with your gut on the wight gain. It's only been 3 weeks of bleeding, but I am sick of it!

Meags - how was the braai, and the family photos?

Faw- hope the pain gets less. Since my spinal block I get chills down my back when it is cold- not sure if it is my imagination.

AFM- washing machine broke and Dh does not seem to see the urgency in getting a replacement
Had a hectic weekend. DH was out playing hockey yesterday and went partying - celebrating the birth of his daughter till 3am... Slept all day now while I look after the children what gives?

Schatsie I am so glad that friday went well and that you don't have pain. Good luck for perfect results, which i'm sure it will be. when do you find out?

Tazzy I am sure everyone grows at different rates. A could have a spurt next week and be fine. I'd only worry if it carried on and she looked thin, little or not healthy. I also whipped out all the cute fluffy outfits. Lol! Although I am sure I have a super mild version here compared to howick!

I honestly hope you have sat down and had a huge cry over all that milk. No pun intended. My word, after everything you went through. Seems so wrong. I would be devastated.
Tessa's winds have improved but now she can't seem to poo. It takes half a day and many tears. Her neck seems better to me but I think her lower back will need another session. We are getting there, 1 slow step at a time.

Faw I am sorry you are still in pain. I am sure your friend will understand if you explain.

Tazzy, table mountain want me in october. Its so far away still and i don't have much money to my name, just collecting more and more debt instead.
I went to a mall today with my mom and it was the worst thing i could have done. I had to stand in a que or 5 and not even half an hour of standing i started to cry with the back pain. I don't know if ill be strong enough to stand for 8 hours every day at table mountain. I have been told it can take a year for it to heal, so im not sure its even an option for me. Im going to speak to my dads physio and see what she says. I think she will be here on monday. I still have to tell the ppl im quitting. Im not looking forward to it because a friend of mine organised the job for me and she was training me. If i didn't have the back pain i would have continued.
Abdul is still doing well. Haven't weighed him in a while. Will do so probably on friday when i take him for his injections. Ill also get a referral for him to see a paed. Sulaiman is also due to see the occupational therapist for his feet. We noticed when he runs he only uses one arm.
On thursday its divorce court date. I can't wait. He sent my last letter back unopened so i hope the one with the court date comes back too.
Better start job hunting again for a desk job while baby sleeps and sulaiman eats.

Tazzy perhaps she also just isnt particularly hungry at the moment? each week is different. If you not worried - thats all that counts. mommy knows best!

I finally got sleep. dh did the 1am feed although I had to get up to warm the bottle while he kept matt calm and I could hear matt crying. but still more restful than doing the feed! so I got 2h30 mins sleep before that feed. then 3h30 mins before the next feed. then he slept 45 mins in the bed with me this morning. so feeling much better!
boobs are not very engorged - at the 12 hour mark. not going to stretch the time-rather pump now then i can pump out less.
got a friggin blocked duct right by my nipple - impossible to unblock as i cant apply heat or pressure because its where the pump is!!

Shame Meags, sounds like you having a rough day! I hope you get some sleep soon. Shoo that's still a lot of milk that you are pumping out. Your boobs must be so confused!

I just went to a kiddies birthday party and was chatting to a mom there. She says those growth charts aren't really made for either bf or formula fed babies, and that I should just go with my gut feeling. She fed her little exclusively for 18 months!!
I don't think its my milk supply, I do have lots of milk. She obviously just isn't hungry.
I'll go weigh her again on friday and see. She really isn't a skinny looking babay, she has rolls everywhere!!
