EmsMom, funny you should ask. My daughter is nearly 2 and not sleep trained yet and when I do "force" her to sleep, it is not for me hun, it is for her sake. All I want for elective c-sec moms is to admit that they do it for THEIR own reasons, to be comfortable, to be organised, whatever reasons....STOP TRYING TO SHOOT DOWN THE FACT THAT NATURAL IS NOT SAFE AND AS THOUGH NATURAL IS NOT THE WAY IT IS MEANT TO BE. Be honest to yourself and to others about why you chose elective c-sec ( NO EXCUSED ).

Enchanted Pixels....I dont know if you understand correctly of if I came across totally incorrect, but I am PRO NATURAL, maybe I dont understand your comment then.

I am pro natural too :-) I had six natural vagianl births (just once I had a pethidine shot, reasons explained a few posts back). I get that you are pro-natural.

I agree with you about admitting WHY moms select c-sections ELECTIVELY. If you ELECT to have a ceaser (not YOU spesifically or any one else spesifically, but generally) don't "hand me a trophy" and be snotty and bitchy cause I did what an elective (not medical) c-sect mommy did not want to, or could not do.

Emsmom very, very good point. I must say that I do sleep training. Not harsh training at all though. I prefer the more gentle aproach. I do feel that I am also teaching my son coping mechanisms, but I hear what you are saying.

Well put.

In my opinion the word 'Natural' is a big clue!

290708 - GOOD for you! I am sick of ceaser moms "handing out trophies" and saying because we're drug free natural moms, we must be so and so blahblahblah. Deal with your own insecurities, if you have them, don't hate me cause I did something you couldn't or wouldn't.
