file CEASER VS NATURAL BIRTH

290708 - if you feel that a c-section is because of the mothers choice - then how do you feel about sleep training?

A parent wants their child to sleep though so that the parents can get a good night sleep? Right? Not for the sake of the child - because some children just don't sleep through.

So then what are your views on sleep training??

Ok. I am pro-natural and I feel that having an elective c-section just because it makes you comfortable, because you are a control freak, because you etc etc...it is all about YOU...should it not be because of the baby???

A c-section is fantastic as it is the solution to a problem ( when complications arise or are known beforehand ) and thefore I am grateful, BUT, if there is no problem, why do you want to have a c-sec. It is your body and you can do with it what you want, but think of the baby, it is best for baby in most instances to be born vaginally.

Its the same with breastfeeding, my SIL didnt breast feed because it was "effort" to actually take out her breast or leave the room if she has visitors etc WTF? Once again, its about "you" - think of the baby.

Like it was said before, this always leads to arguments and I still read threw all the posts, but hardly comment, but this is one thing that really gets me going UNFORTUNATELY.

I birthd my baby naturally, no pain meds. Am I proud, do I want a trophy because I did it NO I DONT, but I give myself a trophy for thinking of my baby and not MYSELF!!!

Enchanted Pixels - no, the comment was not directed at you, didn't occur to me.

It goes back to the previous thread we had on the same subject, and comments that were raised then which seems to have spilled over on to this thread.

Meags you made me scared there for a minute. I wasn't cut right through to the anus but on the right cheek (sorry tmi). I don't understand why it had to be so big.
