file things/advice to help with or after C-sec

Hmm, this topic is timeless, thanks everyone, going in for my second 3 years later and i have forgotten all about the anoying and difficult parts of C-sec, Ive made a ton of notes from beginning to end here,

So lastly an updated tip - if you still have to buy stuff for your hospital bags and baby, do it through dischem and sign up for their moms and baby programme and they also give you bag filled with nice stuff. I havent done it yet, but plan to this coming week end.. You have to spend a minimum amount apparently, but not all in one go :)

Good luck to all !! My c-sec is looming fast, 21st December :)

Little Jenna Lucy Biart born by C SEC on 21 Dec at 8.05 weighing 3.18 kilos and 50cm long - my healthy happy girl finally in my arms.

I cannot remember any stiched. Just some kind of tape over the wound. So I guess I had glue too. was great to be able to shower and not getting it wet.

And you can hardly see my scar :)

I also had glue..think they call it Dermabond.. Wonder why some Dr's are still using staples or stiches..
There are so many plus points..
* Less scarring, hec 2 years later I have a very,very faint line..
* Easy to bath or Shower.
* Less infection..

LOVE it!

My Dr uses a glue. I must say, it was fabulous to not have any stitches!
