Good luck Memo..sure its going to be fine! Some tears to be expected the first few mornings, but they adapt so well within a week or so!
You can always phone during the day to find out how he is doing!

Also are you giving him any vitamins at the moment.. might want to boost the immune system a bit!

Just an update.. I've decided to go the creche route (just cos I need it to be a very reliable situation, I dont get to make excuses at work) and Jude is starting at 'L.ittle S.tar.s" tomorrow (so if anyone has heard of any drugging or molesting lol.. aaaahhh, scary!).
I start work in a weeks time so we are gonna build up the time he spends there over the next week. O gosh wish me luck! Or rather wish the lovely prince :( My poor baby.. I hope it goes well.

Dylan had no isses starting at 4 months. Seriously he was all smiles which made it easier for me. At 2 we changed schools and that was a huge adjustment for him.

Lol memo!!!

DH is now PRO nanny... gawd :headbang:
I must say i'm still leaning that way.. I think w.r.t HIV, it's a health and safety type thing. I know quite a few people (friends) that have HIV so I obviously also know some that I'm unaware of (collegues) and I think its become 'etiquete' (for lack of a better word) that when someone bleeds you pass a plaster over the table and you dont touch each other. This is something quite simple to explain and simple to avoid.

I wont be requiring an hiv test (unless I'm missing something?)

My brat I would also prefer my lb can talk before he goes to school. Not just to report things but also so he can learn to speak first. I dont think playing amongst other 1 year old is gonna develop him enough.

Claudia - Wow that is a lot, then yeah in that case go for what works out cheaper!

Hasie - That is crazy prices, I am glad in Cpt it's not as bad as that, I would be bankrupt! All things like the mini sports are extra but you don't have to do them and then the occational R5 for a puppet show maybe once a term if that. We are pretty lucky with that I guess. Goodness that is madness with the vaccines, do you not have a pharmacy that does them? I go to our local pharmacy which even has clinic on a Saturday morning so you won't have to miss work which is nice :) Amazing how cities within the same country differ so greatly!

Mybrat - You legally do not have the right to ask any employee their HIV status in any job sadly. But you could pass it by if they they would be willing to volunteer for a test when you do the interviews or if you go via an agency speak to them about what policy they have when it comes to that.

Jeepers Hasie, and here I was thinking Pretoria East is bad.. We pay R2060 per month full day, including breakfast, lunch and snacks..I only pack her juice / milk, nappies and wipes.
Must say there is only about R100 or R80 difference between half day and full day.
We also get a list in the beginning of the year..but its not that bad..
