Don' worry Charl we won't tell on you, maybe blackmail you later but won't tell ;)

I also hope and pray that its nothing more than a bad patch and he'll soon get over it. If it is teh same immune problem then I pray to God that its sorted out soon as you said.

What did you mean by saying the antibiotics have broken down the good things? Are you talkign about the good bacteria in the tummy? How did you see that it's been broken down?

Hope you ladies don't mind me asking a lot of questions  There's so much that I learn from you and honestly its through you that we've managed to sort out most ailments without needing a doc. I so hop eyou don't mind.

hello ladies... well, bardon is still struggling with his runny tummy and now after a week i have decided i need to phone my lifeline, my paediatrician, the antibiotics he was on last week has broken down the good things, yes i know and even though i gave him reuteri its still broken down, so now we must start him on mycostatin and something else, and then i told him, bardon is still sickish, still got green nose and sticky sticky snots, he then told me only to carry on with ocean chamiflor which is a salt water spray, and to let him know how it goes, if not better in a week (5days) then i'll have to come see him, why???? because he could actually have the same immune defiency as his sister angelique cause it is herediatry, NICE ONE!!! but luckily if we catch it early cause we now know its a complication in the family we could stop it early without needing infusions. if this is another thing thats one our road, we'll fight it too, i do believe everything happens for a reason and God puts nothing on your road and path that you cannot handle, you must just be strong, and you now what, its cause of you ladies and my july mommies that i prob make it through each day, cause i get this stuff off my chest. bottled up inside would not have been good, so i thank you for your support!

CONFESSION: i gave bardon 4ml stopayne last night, covered his bed in karvol drops and sprayed that nose with chamiflor, i needed sleep desperatly, ask my other kids, when i dont get sleep im aweful...

i did get sleep and when he woke at 6am i hugged him and kissed him and thanked him for giving mommy a wonderful nights sleep!!!

Thanks JD. What do you mean 'a safe ointment'? We had goen shopping this one day and when we came back we put the shopping bags on the counters and on the floor. I usually unpack them immediately cos I don't like groceried lying around and of course there's the frozen stuff that must be put in the freezer asap. Anyway on that day I delayed a bit and was doing something in the sink, and then I turn around and find LO sipping the dishwashing liquid that he took from the grocery bag that was on the floor. I paniked so much and wasn't sure what to do. He didn't drink much cos the stuff tastes awful (judging by his expression) but I was still scared and stuck on what/what not to do. I just read the sticker on the bottle and it said if someone drinks the dishwashing liquid inside the person must drink milk. So we did that, was I right to do this? LO turned out okay but it was very scary. Now its no groceries on the floor and if the counters are full then its direct into the cupboards.

brownie I am really bad here. I worked for a pharmaceutical company that put them together and no I don't have one.

What you should have is:

plasters
a couple bandages
gauze
NO Mecurochrome please. It isn't good to use.
A safe ointment
Stopitch or antihistimine cream
Burnshield (the best for burns)
An eye bath
Sealed saline water for rinsing eyes

Please do a first aid course if you can and learn basic CPR.

With poisoning take child or adult to hospital. If chemicals have been swallowed do not make the person vomit as that will cause burns in the throat.

Burns use cold water (not ice) and do not try to remove burnt clothes etc or pop blisters.
