The only problem with Paed. is that you need to wait so long to get an appointment (in our case anyways).

I am a pain in the a$%e when it comes to meds. I take dylan to see the paed rather and usually he prescribes nothing, but at least I have peace of mind.

:) I'm sure he would have. Newborns and 8 - 9 month olds are my favourite :-).

Just wanted to add - Kayla was 6 months old and had flu, so I gave her Demezin (blue liquid). She slept for hours after that, then woke up, sat up and looked at me and fell over again! I got such a big fright, I rushed her off to the Doctor and he said that I should NEVER have given her Demezin (but the bottle does say from 6 months I think).

Julz - I must say most of the newborns just go sleep by themselves (shoots take about 3 hours), so pls don't think all the kids are doped to get the shoot done :-).

But ya, I had people there with newborns who fed their kids in those 3 hours - water, milk, tea, some herbal remedy, some lennons etc.

And I once had a baby there who was about 8 months old. I'm not sure what they gave him all, but he eventually fell asleep and I could move him or do whatever I wanted, but he slept (like a newborn would) :-(. At this age they will never just fall asleep during a shoot and you should be able to get lots of different expressions etc.

And I know someone who used to give her kids panado to sleep :-(, but she also drank wine at her baby shower when she guessed wrong :-(.

I wonder how many people rub brandy, whiskey etc. on their kids gums (I was given this advice!).
