Trisomy babies

Hi,

We are doing well thanks and you guys.

Just a little on the tired side, Lior has been a bit niggly and not sleeping to well the last three nights, besides the fact I have only managed to get him down between 12 and 2 am.

He is a bit niggly today, his daddy gave him some ponstan earlier, so hopefully when I get home he has settled and will sleep tonight.

Kind of feeling a bit like a zombie.

We have an appointment with the Paediatric surgeon on Tuesday next week. So for now I just want to write everything down that I need to ask. We always say we must ask this and that and when we get to the doc, and are just happy to find out he is ok, we forget half the things we wanted to ask and then obviously only remember once we are home

Sorry only replying now. Lior is doing well, the doc is very happy. He does have a bit of a chest infection at the moment, so we are back on pulmicort nebs. He has also given us other medication for the seizures so we will see how that goes.

The doc also agrees with us to do the mic-key peg, so he has referred us to a peadiatric surgeon - who is apparently the best in the country - he is based in Pretoria. We will be seeing him on Tuesday next week and then we will also ask about the option of a Nissan fundo ...... something or other - this is an op that they do so that he cannot vomit - he has bad reflux but this could be because of the tube. We were initially worried about that but speaking to the doc yesterday he said he would advice in Lior's case as the vomiting can eventually burn the oesophogas (however you spell that) and it can cause cancer in the long run. So we will see the specialist next week and ask about all these things.
