Aww cute, Amber knows how to clean up the strawberries. How did you get the stains out?

2kidmamma, I'll gladly post pics for you, anytime. I was SO hoping by 18 months they want to sit still for longer, damn! :)

Hi Marjike

I did it last night. BLW'ed with Reece. First with Yoghurt which he perfectly managed to eat with a spoon (First time ever) with almost no mess. Then I gave him Macaroni cheese with a fork. He couldn't pick up the macaroni and struggled to stick the fork in so for the most past he just kept putting an empty fork into the mac and cheese sauce and sucking it off. He liked his fingers quite a lot. Anyhow, i did take pics but don't know when i will be able to load them. I may have to send them to you again. But my actual point is, he sat for nearly 45 minutes still in his feeding chair "Eating" while he has never wanted to sit still their while I tried to feed him and mostly he just turns his head away or tries to climb out.

Christelle, don't worry about it too much! Remember that it is all new to her and she's basically just playing, that is why in BLW circles you have the "food is fun until 1" motto.

Some times you stand in front of the oven/stove for hours and they just aren't interested and other times they clean a plate. It also depends on if she's really hungry or not, remember that some days you just aren't as hungry as the next so it's all fine.

You will see a *massive* shift in her appitite once she gets the pincher grasp down to a pat - round about 9 - 10 months.

* I say massive but again keeping in mind that her stomach is just as big as her clenched fist - so it's not that big

I still have 'bad' days with B but I think it's the way you deal with it that makes the difference and sets you up better for those picky eating stages.

For the most part I think BLW just taught me to look at food differently and relax at meal times.

Keep us posted! Love seeing your pics!
