Feeding your baby BLW style

Why don't you try cooking a bit more of what can be mashed and freezing it for those night you and the rest of your family eat other things or if you are running late and grab takeaways, can just pop a countainer out the freezer and microwave for Lorelai?

yes i know i sound stupid, you wont say that i have a 4 year old, but we dont eat things that i can mash every night. what do i do those nights?

B got her first tooth at 9 months 3 weeks - those gums are harder than you think, think breastfeeding moms will agree!

When we were little my mom use to feed us table food, she just mashed it with a fork

she has no teeth and im scared that she is going to choke. and honestly i dont want to buy more purity i have wasted so much money on it.

FYI - if you heat the purity add a bit of spices (i know that i shouldn't) it is actually okay. but she does not even want the pudding.

The forum is here for everyone to differ. I never even heard of BLW before this post. Thats what makes moomie so interesting.

Im one of those mommies that just goes with the flow if my baby wants to eat with a spoon or her hands I dont really care as long as shes not hungry. (well shes still only on milk)

But I do appreciate all info given, everybody can read do research and decide for themselves... if we all did the same thing it would be pretty boring. Children would all be working like little programed robots.

Charlotte, the funny thing about purity - I actually did buy one jar and was too scared to taste it so I had hubby taste it. It's Yucky, I don't blame Lorelai for not liking it

But in all fairness, have you tried going for more textured food with her, or the next purity stage?

Lorelai is 7 months and does not like purity - because it is so smooth. what do i give her instead? she will not open her mouth for it. but the other night i gave her cottage pie and she kept diving at my fork for more.
