Feeding your baby BLW style

Alexandria & Laila stand in the doorway as they are not allowed to be near the table when we eat, but as soon as i pick Lorelai up out of the chair, they fight over who gets what piece!!!

When we at the flat, the cat also helps herself!!!

what i love most about BLW is the fact that i dont have to feed her and wait til she's done so that i can eat. now i pu ther in the high chair she messes, the dogs clean the floor, i clean the chair and we are all happy as a family.

it is very important to me that all meals are eaten as a family.

oh and Marijke if you delete this post my daughter will starve!!! we need this.

My DH and I spoke about it over the weekend and he's comment was that if BLW is the ONLY thing I learned about on Moomie, it's worth it! He absolutely loves that we can all eat together as a family and that there's no fighting, no tears and no cold food!

i dont think you ever do.. my eldest is 4 and sometimes i still fear her choking.

oh i i have been a bit of a freak, i have gone onto google, googled all the info i can find on BLW printed it and will read everything on the train this afternoon...

So M be proud you have converted me. hate the mess, but i have 2 jack russels who love it.

My heart is not strong enough lol. Gave Jordan a piece of apple on Saturday to chew on and I promise you with the first sound of choking I grapped it out of his hand and said, let us just stay alive for the day! hehehehehehhe.

But really guys I want to try it, can see my boy is ready, its mommy that not and not fair towards him.

How do you do it, how to you over come the fear of them choking?
