This side... All is well, having a toddler keeps me busier than ever!! Hope everyone is doing well too!

Morning ladies

Sorry I've been quiet. It's been a crazy year. My pregnancy went well; bar the over exaggerated symptoms. They were explained at 16 weeks when the doc pointed out the 'right baby' and the 'left baby'. OMW!! We were having twins!! Well, fast forward 20 weeks and they're here. I had Stacy and Ethan via c-section at 36 weeks. They're 3 weeks old today and growing well. I am quite shocked at how much calmer I am this time and it really is making the process of caring for them easier than the first time.

How are you all? Second (and maybe third) babies here yet?

Its been long time how is everyone and the little ones. Congratulations to those who are pregnant and all the best .

My little girls are okay Lethabo goes to creche and Bokang stay home with the helper and next month she will be turning one.

I am not sure if I must do a party for her because I just got married in April 27.

Hello mommies! Sjoe.. Wheres everyone? Hope you and your toddlers are all doing well!

My BIG boy turned 2 on Sunday! Awww and this year he was able to blow out his own candles.. and so we had to re-light it so that my cousins son could blow it out and so that my God child could blow it out too! It was just to cute for words watching the 3 of them!

All is going well this side. Our little holiday was FANTASTIC! Loved it, EL is humid tho but we really enjoyed it!!

Hi ladies

@ Babyshoes, nope we also not having a birthday party this year. We had a HUGE 1st birthday party for her. And I mean huge like about 100 adults and about 30 kids. We had caterers, photographers, party planners etc. We really went big. so don't feel like another party this year. I buy her stuff ALL the time so I don't even know if she'll know the difference in getting a present ON THE DAY. We will also be sending a cake/cupcakes to school and maybe party packs. The lady who gives her a lift home from school also does cakes, cupcakes, partypacks so I am ordering from her.

What I do want to do though is to do up her (& her coming sibling's) bedroom. I want to turn our 3rd bedroom into a childrens room. We only have 3 bedrooms and she has been sleeping in a campcot in our room up to now. But now, she needs to learn to sleep in her own bed in her own room. Especially with the baby coming at the end of September. I am very excited about this "mini project". I just want to 1st find out if the baby is a girl or a boy so I know which way to go regarding the colour scheme.

Happy that Luke is enjoying creche. Elam loooooves creche. She loves the nursery rhymes, counting, and she does the cutest little actions to the songs. Sometimes we have no idea which song she is actually singing then we explain the actions and the little we can hear to the teacher and she tells us the song so we can help her with learning it.

By the way, are there all these extra murals at your children's creches that you need to pay for over and above the fees? Elam's school has Yoga for kids, Active kids, Hip Hop Dancing. and the list goes on and on. What annoys me is that the extra murals happen within school hours, some in the mornings at 8am and 9am. So, the issue is that if you don;t pay for your kids to do them, your child cries and feels left out and doesn't understand why she can't do dancing/yoga/active kids etc. So, in a way you are guilted into paying for all these things. I personally think the EXTRA murals should be held in the afternoons after the school day is over also because it means that the extra murals take away learning time. Sorry for loooong shpiel, what are your feelings on the issue?

@NickyMG: Congrats on your 2nd pregnancy. I am 14 weeks 2days today. Last went for scan last week at 13 weeks and baby was fine. I am soooooo excited! This pregnancy has been really chilled. No morning sickness. No over-tiredness. Nothing really. I am just really impatient. Are you hoping for a girl or a boy this time? I am hoping for a boy just to have a pigeon pair cos my 1st born is a girl, but the idea of sisters is also quite sweet especially since we are only having 2 kids (if I can convince DH )
