Bronz, we're just about unpacked - books and CDs still in boxes but not to fussed - we don't really use the CDs any more. Might just leave them in the bozes ;) You are the moving queen! Doesn't seem to faze you or Graeme. Emily seems to be settling down. Having said that she still hasn't had her nap, so maybe I'm talking too soon.

Pinky, let me know if the cleaner doesn't work out and I'll hook you up with Yvonne. Maybe Karla's going through what Emily's going through. Teeth? They do go through a clingy phase around now. Emily's milking her cuteness. Comes to me while I'm working (buggering around on Moomie), pats my leg and with the cutest little smile says "Up". Aah man. I don't have the heart to say "go away child" so not much work is being done. So much for "when I have a study I'm going to be so productive" :headbang:

Keep us posted on the sex!! Fun!

Would love to get together again. We're due to get our new roster soon, so maybe on a Saturday when I'm off??

Babyshoes, I'm also thinking it's time for a bed. Emily just fits in the cot - her head and feet almost touch both sides. And she's been trying to climb in and out, so I reckon it's time. I'm a bit worried about keeping her in the bed though. Little monkey.

Ha ha Bronz, Emily did the same with the powder the other day. Keep us updated on the scan. Too early to tell the sex? 25 words - sjoe. Emily's taking her time. Again.

Hi girls!!!

So nice reading some of the posts!

My life has been quite hectic... MS is gone... thank goodness for that, now it is just headaches and very bad sinus, but not too bad! Going for our next check-up tomorrow... I am 16 weeks now... hopefully we will see the gender... hold thumbs!!!

Karla has started crying a lot when I drop her off at school... these past 3 days she cries everytime I drop her off... not cool... and she is very clingy to me, even when my mom takes her, she never cries when I give her to my mom, now all of a sudden... I wonder if it has got something to do with the pregnancy? Shame my poor nunu…

I found someone to work for me, just hope she is nice… she is a bit older (49), so maybe it is better than all these young woman… Meeting her on Saturday!

When are we having a get together again?

Maybe a Saturday morning or afternoon lunch? I see Cape Town has a meet in December again… Would love to have a Joburg one as well…
I am sort of alone at the office today, so I am squeezing some studying in… My boss is in a meeting, so let me get back to that before her meeting is done!!!

Have a good day ladies!

Good Morning mommies...

Bronz, glad to hear the pregnancy is going well.. How far along are you now? Had to have a good laugh when you called G a hooligan. Any news on when you guys are leaving for the states?

Pinky in what area are you? I know of a domestic looking for a job and she is very good and trustworthy - She works for Clive and Liesl.

ScribblingAl - WOW, Emily sounds very busy and Im glad to read that the move went well. The freebies are nice - got them yesterday, yeah I did enter a competition but I did not win - this was just extra they had left that they gave away. The moomie T does not fit tho (Im an XL and its a M) - does anyone maybe want it? - Let me know and I will post it to whoever would like it...

Bronz - the sleep training has worked - routine has worked and I have NO problem anymore with getting Luke to go to bed. However he has realised he can get out of his cot, so I have had to take the thick new mattress out and put the thinner one back cos then it is lower and he cant get out... My mom reckons its time for a big boy bed. WOW WOW - 25 words - that is sooo impressive. Luke is picking up words quickly too - he knows what a banana and an apple is and he can say them too (these are his biggest words so far - not 1005 perfect but the idea is there)...

So is anyone planning on going to the December moomie meet?

x

Hey Ladies!

ScribblingAl All unpacked then? How are you enjoying the new house? We also just moved, yes again, hopefully after this it's to the states into a place for a month or 2 then a 'permanent' place. My best is packing a box only to come back and find that G has unpacked most of the box. At least that is over for 2 months, but we are living out of 3 suitcases now.

Pinky how is your pregnancy going? Has MS passed? When is your due date? I was also thinking of giving up on the studying, but cant with only 4 modules left, how much do you have left?

Babyshoes how is the sleep training going?

Jacadebra Glad to hear you are doing well. Wow on Lia's speech, G says about 25 words now, but does understand a lot.

This pregnancy is going really well. I have a little MS which I didn't have with G. But where I was exhausted with G and going to bed at 7pm this time round I can stay up till late and have extra energy. I find that very strange. Have some twinges down there and could swear my pants are tighter...

My hooligan is keeping my on my toes. Not getting as much studying done as my babysitter (the dstv is broken). Extra cleaning work as this morning he got hold of the box of pronutro, spread it everywhere. Will teach me to leave it with in his reach. I love the little person he is becoming.

I will update after my scan on monday.

Helllloooo ladies.

Sjoe, quite a bit of catching up to do. We moved last weekend, and this weekend we had my family over - folks, sister, her boyfriend, cousin, uncle, cousin's kid - so it was a nice madhouse. I haven't taken time off work (did try, but they wouldn't let me take leave) so in between the move, work, having a pool net installed (which Madam's tested out four times already), and having outside alarm sensors installed, fielding calls from the geriatrics (no, we did not find a duvet in the cupboard; no, we did not see a basket full of remotes; yes, some post did arrive....) haven't had much of a gap anywhere for anything.

Beansmom.... what happened with the house????

Pinky, did you find someone? I wish I could have loaned you Letty, but we're a bit far away now. My cousin, who lives round the corner from you, has a lovely woman who used to work for us before Letty (she recommended Letty to us because she couldn't work fulltime). Do you want me to see if she has a free day? She's a bit ditsy but she is really sweet and cleans well.

Babyshoes, how're the freebies? Did you enter a competition?

Jacadebra, Lia is coming along in leaps and bounds. Can't believe her and Karla are stringing words together already!

Bronz, how is the pregnancy going? Is it different to when you were pregnant ith Graeme?

Des, you have to stop posting pics now. You are going to get those of us who aren't pregnant all broody. How is Connor settling into his new role of Big Brother? Do you two (Des and Bronz) see much of each other now that you're both innie Kaap?

Argh got to run - Emily got hold of the baby powder, and it's all over the couch, carpet and Madam. At least it smells nice... She really is a little terror. The other day she got hold of a pen and drew all over our coffee table. Picasso it ain't...
