hello ladies
@Scribblingal - Awesome!!! congrats on the house!!! that is really fabulous news!! and you thought you wouldn't get it!!!
As for boundaries and grandparents... i made up my behind before Tayla was even born that i wouldn't allow any parents, family or friends to just pop-in... and it was tough... but a few pop-ins blocked at our gate stopped it very quickly... granted I am no longer the favourite in-law - but i really don't give a damn...
We (Tayla and I) see my folks once a week, usually on a weekend now that she is at daymom... before that i used to take her there a couple of times during the week as both my folks are pensioners and it was my "break".
The in-law (mother only) we see once a week when we go there for dinner and a visit and she comes to us once a week after work for half an hour or so...
The arrangement we currently have suits me just perfectly... although i could do without the monday night famiy dinner - but that is my compromise!
Don't have too much news from my side... Tayla has had a few bad nights - which means mom has had a few bad nights... and I was just saying to hubby how funny it is that the few wake ups kills me the next day and just a year ago I was awake every few hours to feed, burp and rock back to sleep and then i managed...
Tayla has decided running is her new thing - so she runs every where... usually away from us

and our kitchen cupboard is her new favourite spot... Note to self : must look for locks for kitchen cupboard!!!
