Hello mommies!!!

Bronz - the driving lesson was Sunday! Went very well! I go this Saturday again! Pretty excited and then Clive is gonna let me drive his car for about another hour or so after my driving lesson so that I can practice a bit more! Cant wait! YAY!!!

ScribblingAl - how weird was the flu I thought I was starting to get... I had the sniffles for a day and the next it was gone! LOL!

Woman's day was quiet this side. Spent the day with Luke, entertaining him and playing in the now completed sand pit!!

I cant wait until next weekend! Luke and I are going away with Clive and Liesl for my Birthday (a little mini holiday) at Avlon Springs! Im soooo excited, never been there - been told its very nice! We leave next week Friday midday-ish and come back the following Monday late afternoon!

Saturday evening I am babysitting again - its my cousin's wedding anniversary.

Touch wood - I have not had to rock Luke to sleep now 2 nights in a row and he has gone down between 7:00pm and 7:30pm... Im soooo hoping the cycle of rocking is broken and gone... He is still sleeping pretty bad - awake every 2 to 3 hours for his bottle (which I have realized he only uses to fall back asleep with - so its more for comfort)...

Ha ha Bronz, one of the veggies' kids has to turn out veggie, right? There are at least three of us on this thread, and all of our kids are eating meat. What that says about our diets I don't know. Had a bit of an existential crisis when Emily first started on solids

Hope you both (Bronz and Babyshoes) are feeling better, and that all our mommies had a lovely Women's Day. We attempted to go for lunch (after the Woolies sale), but spent it taking turns to run after madam while the other person sat like a loser at the table. Needless to say a bottle of wine went down quite fast.

Bronz, did you manage to get much done? Nice to have Daddy on hand again. I can't believe there's no school with space. Have you tried any of the state schools?

ScribblingAl: We can only hope right. He does not eat that much meat, only a little sausage and ham every now and then. Oh and he likes chicken Mayo.

Babyshoes: I felt that way after last year's Baba indaba. I could not buy the things I wanted to, had to go to this and this shop. Which was very annoying as I had hoped to get the stuff on special there! And you pay R50 for a bag of pamphlets. (Oh I will send you a PM now)

How did the driving lesson go? It was this last Sat?

I feel terrible today. Think I have shingles again. My hip area is so sore and I feel all fluey.

What are you ladies up 2 today? I think I will do some prac prep, even though it doesnt look like I will get to do it this year as no schol has space in my area. And then I will start studying for exams and do my assignments. Daddy is on Graeme duty today.

"New parents" - Babyshoes, you make me laugh. Hope you feel better soon. It's a public holiday tomorrow - you can't be sick! Speaking of which, it's the first public holiday I've had off in a long time. Looking forward to spending time with my little family. What's everyone getting up to?
