kanyo82 – Oh wow congrats on the new baby girl – I don’t know how mom’s manage with 2 children – I know I personally cant do it! I take my hat off to you!!! And a double WOW on the ABC’s and 123’s.

ScribblingAl - How did the editing go? I think all of us are battling with little tantrums with our LO’s at the moment – its definitely a toddler thing! I have a Q about the 15th month jab – the sister at the clinic told me that it was not an important jab and that I need to bring him back at 18 months – is that true? Yes I do have a car – a red mini that I got from my mom. Can’t wait to start my driving lessons. Luke’s car seat is in my mom’s car at the moment – its gonna go over to my car as soon as I have my drivers… And I need to get it by December cos my best friends are going to the UK and want me to house sit for them and Ill need to drive Luke to my mom in the mornings! Ok did you find out if the house was sold – still holding thumbs this side!!!?

I have started counting when it gets to Luke and him getting up to mischief (mainly getting onto the kitchen table – I ask / tell him to get off the table and if he does not do it I start counting 1 2 3 4 5 and if by 5 he has not listened to me I take him off and smack him on his bum (I really do not like to do it – but I need to take control of the situation and discipline him the best I can cos there is no one else to really do it). Anyways I have noticed that by about 3 or 4 he stops what he is doing and starts to listen (but he really does do this in SLOW MO… LOL!)…. My mom has not got the patience to do the counting thing and now removes all the kitchen chairs from the kitchen (quite funny to see how bare the kitchen looks when I get home from work – but when I walk into my room the chairs are lined up in a row for me to go and put back in the kitchen GRRRR – At least she is not arguing with me at the moment about Luke).

Luke is also starting to pick up words VERY quickly now – he says Sean (Sean is my mom’s godchild that lives with us – ironically it’s his father’s name too GRRR) – you don’t hear the “n” at the end when he says it but you know what he is saying. He also saying Dirk (my brother) – but it comes out as Duh…. And he says Henrich – you can hear the “Hei” part and “ri” part.

How’s the lovely rain in CPT today? Im loving it!

Kanyo82!!! I was wondering how you were doing! You're going to have to post pics - and your birth story!!

Wow - counting and alphabets! I'm starting to feel a little behind here . As long as it sounds like dye and not die - that could be a little weird. It sounds like you have everything under control, and Lethabo is doing amazingly. I'm sure she'll soon settle into her role of big sister. Can she obey instructions, like fetch this, or bring me this...? Then you can keep her busy and she can help you at the same time.

Hi ladies

Long time just a quick update I gave birth on baby girl on July 14 her name is Bokang Milaninande. Her big sis is 15 mnths soon to be 16mnths on 5 August she can count 1 2 3 and alphabets a b c. She can say bye that sound like dye and she can say dankie. Having a toddler and an infant can be draining I would advise anyone to have steps better to have kids with a difference at least 3yrs old. I think I won't need to go on a diet I will just lose weight because sometimes can be hectic having to attending to Lethabo because she want my att and a new born Bokang who wants to be feed
