Sorry I have been scarce... so busy with work.

Gloei - I really hope your headaches don't come back. I can completely relate to the showing... I have a boep... doesn't even look like a baby boep... I am worried people are going to start thinking I am getting fat haha. My friend thinks it may just be bloating Hope your LG is feeling better.

Newbiemom - I hope you can confirm at the next scan haha... your baby sounds like a little character... wants to keep you guessing Ours keeps tucking its little legs over its privates... but we have another scan tomorrow so fingers crossed Hope your LB is feeling better!

Nellmarigeyer - Congratulations and welcome. So exciting!!

Ilse - I have also struggled to find maternity clothing... makes me mad! My sister in law is looking for me in Cape Town... hopefully she can find something. I have also bought larger size jeggings from Pick n Pay clothing... I am living in them coz they are so nice and stretchy.

So... the last few weeks I have had 0330 and 0530 mornings out capturing birds for a student... I am so exhausted all the time!! My nausea has been getting worse not better and I started with headaches I am looking forward to my appointment tomorrow... need to speak to my doctor. I have felt the baby move once but really looking forward to feeling it more regularly.

Newbiemom - Ahh...in hindsight we should have rather kept the gender a secret until the 20 week scan...Although we did say to her we are not entirely sure it is a girl yet.

We started using a fan at night in our bedroom, suspecting that it might be drying out the air (although their is a humidifier next to my bed). We switched off the fan last night and I didn't have a headache last night - I hope that was the cause, although you are right, apparently headaches are very common in pregnancy, just so weird that I never had them with my first preganancy - guess each pregnancy is different?!

Sorry to hear about your LB being sick, my LG is also battling with a cold for the past 2 weeks.

Gloei we havent mentioned anything to him about the gender, even when dr was sure it was a boy... will wait for big scan to confirm and then tell him.
I am also still u sure as dr couldnt get another good look on firday to confirm, so I am waiti g patiently for next month..... ai

Glad you are feeling better, but sorry about the headaches ... my gy ea said headaches are quite freque t and nor al in pregnancy, but I didnt thi k it should be so severe... hope your dr can help out.

My lb at home today as he had a fever this weeke d and complained of ear ache, seems better today but will keep him home tomorrow to make sure

Hi Ladies!

Welcome back Nellmarigeyer!! I think our due dates are very close together as mine is around 8 April. I can only imagine how excited you must be after struggling to fall pregnant after 2 years - so glad you got your BFP!
Once you go into your second trimester a lot of the very obvious pregnancy symptoms dissappear (if you are lucky) but the third trimester is usually a bit tougher again. Enjoy the time where you feel energetic and try to get a lot of things done before the fatigue sets in again (just a small hint).


Newbiemom - OH MY!!! can you believe it??!! And we were talking about not being to sure about the gender predictions...Ha ha ha!
Mmm...I hope your little boy isn't too upset about the news, as my LG is very adamant she doesn't want a baby brother! Hope he isn't taking it too bad.


I have been really struggling with headaches during the night the past week. It is the strangest thing, I wake up during the night with a serious headache! It is not migraine, just a very bad headache! Once I get up in the morning it usually gradually disappears. Will speak to my dr. about it on wednesday during my next appointment. Otherwise I am feeling really great and glad to have my appetite back! Feeling baby move quite a lot although my husband hasn't been able to feel it yet. I am starting to show more and more each day and I think my worries about not picking up weight is going to be something of the past quite soon as I have already picked up 1 kg the past few days!

Its totally normal..... I am starting to show a bit and i dont feel pregnant most of the time Soon soon it will be overwhelming and you'll be aware of your baby aaaaall the time <3

So ladies....... haha. went for our 16 week scan today.
Dr takes one look and says... "WHY did i say it was a boy?!"
But immediately after that baba closed those legs real tight and put both little hands infront as if to hide it from us... typical little girl i think
So we are still not sure but he said based on what he saw today it is a girl...
But he wants to confirm next time. haha. i just laughed. oh my word!

I was happy to have another boy, but i was not convinced at all that it was definitely a boy. but now the wait continues....

Hi Ladies! My due date is 7/4/2015. This is our first baby and we are super excited! We struggled for almost two years to get pregnant so we feel extremely blessed that it happened naturally for us. I used to chat in the trying to concieve forum from Aug 2013...but for some or other reason my previous profile was lost!! Very wierd!

I am a curvy girl and not really showing yet... also some days I dont really feel pregnant! Is this normal? Our last appointment was the 14th of October and baby was doing very well.

Hope you ladies have a great weekend. My mother and I are going to baby expo today.
