Hi ladies!

Aaaawww gloei thats so sweet! Haha. I was also laughing last week when my friend told me her baby was a boy until 17 weeks, and she eventually had a little girl. This should be interesting.

Soooo..... the reason I was throwing up so much was a reaction to the antibiotics. Had to stop taking them 3 days into the course. But man I feel so much better. Still a walking gag reflex but I can live with that.

How is everyone else doing? And when is everones next scan?

Yes!!! I was thinking about your story and told my husband about what happened to you. You are absolutely right, one has to keep an open mind in the end. The doctor told me to keep all the till slips for the baby clothes...Ha ha ha.

I think my LG is going to be very upset if it turns out a boy...

Everyone is so quiet....

How is everyone doing?

Just came back from the doctor, and the doctor is 95% sure it is a girl!
Glad I was right with my initial pink babygrow purchase at 5 weeks!
My LG is pretty happy about the prospects of a sister! I can imagine my husbands family is "slightly" dissapointed as this is the last grandchild that they will probably have and the other grand children are 2 girls too...so basically 4 girls and no boy to carry on the family surname.

I am pretty excited!!! I don't mind 2 girls at all.

Hoping that everyone's symptoms are improving... xx

StarryEyed - So glad you are back and that the scan was such a treat!! I am sure you are feeling a lot more relaxed now? You must still be really tired from the entire trip, hope you had some time to rest and spend some time with hubby over the weekend.

Newbiemom - I am so sorry to hear that the nausea is plaguing you so much!! I really have the deepest sympathy as I can still remember freshly how hard it was to throw up every single day with my first pregnancy. It really was a challenging time. I started to improve by 15 weeks and by 16 weeks I was Hungry again! I am so hoping that the end is near for you. I would have thought stopping the progesterone might have helped more, but perhaps it is all still in your system for a while?

LOL about the DSTV, we also don't have any TV reception, only DVDs and whenever we visit family with DSTV my LG is totally fixated on all the new programs!! So glad you have some distraction at this point.

Has your flu improved? And the rest of the family??

I am so relieved that I haven't had another migraine. I have had a couple of headaches brewing but nothing that actually became a migraine. I am going to try to do my Pilates at least every second day (I am battling, it is quite tiring!) and hope that it will continue to help strengthen my back and neck muscles.

Ladies, I am still throwing up most days... 14 weeks tomorrow. Eish.
Was so lucky with my son, was only sick till about 9 weeks.

Sorry for the tmi, but atleast now I learn alot about which foods digest really fast and which takes longer
Good to know what to eat that will be absorbed quickly before nausea sets in

Gloei, I have been fortunate staying with these friends. We dont watch tv at home. And they have dstv... so with it being school holiday my lb has just been enjoying it sooo much. Disney junior all the way. I dont think he has watched as much tv throughout his life as he has this past week. And honestly I am just grateful that he had a distraction.

Thanks for all the good wishes... Had my scan and they took ALOT of blood... Only get those results next week. But the doc says our little SPROGLET looks perfect! It is only 4.5cm... But so so active... You cannot even tell it is a baby in the photo... It was too busy gum boot dancing to let us snap a pic! Haha it definately takes after its daddy!! So amazing watching it move so much! My due date... He at first said 30 April but after measuring he said 01 May. But I think I will stay with this group
