Hope this week the nausea begins to taper down for all of us, it seems to be improving on my side!

newbiemom@ wow, your scan is so clear and beautiful. Thats great to know about your home birth. I am really considering it. I hope your lb gets better soon and that your bladder infection clears up.

Starreyed@ i bought alot of clothes already from the thrift store from 0-24mths. I was going to TRY and wait but after seeing the R5 sale i ran towards their direction. I have tried to avoid other stores since.

Gloie@ hope you are having an energetic day. I am meeting another midwife on wednesday and the other on on tuesday. She (new midwife) is very open to my hospital choice. The hospital is about 5+-min away and no traffic morning or noon on the way there compared to the other hospital. Will find out more on monday as i am going for my first antenatal there.

Have a great weekend ladies hope you all are sleeping in unlike me who woken up before 7 by my wonderful son who seems to have had enough sleep.

Nels_n- that calm C-section sounds much nicer than a normal one. Thanks for the description... will keep that in mind for emergency.

Newbiemom- That picture is so amazing and so exciting that the doc was able to give you an idea of what sex it is. I am sure your little boy is going to love having a brother. I hope you feel better soon! Must be such a lovely feeling to see the baby! I really cannot wait... a week seems like forever.

I went to H&M the other day mainly to look at their maternity clothes but I happened to get distracted in the baby section. I got two outfits - one has rainbow stripey trousers and beanie and a plain shirt with mum+dad=me written on it (like my profile pic). The other is a fleecy onesie with a hood... the hood has ears on and at the back there is a little tail like a polar bear... so cute for winter. I also bought a beanie and socks that have I love mom and dad written on them. I could not resist getting something to take home

I really hope the bladder infection will clear up quickly. I can only imagine how tough it must be now to care for your poor sick boy too. I hope it is not too serious. My LG sometimes get a fever when she gets a cold, I hope it is something like that and not something else. My LG had a bladder infection when I was 7 weeks pregnant and it was extremely tough to take care of her while feeling so sick and tired and nauseas, especially checking her fever right trough the night every 3 hours. Thinking of you and your boy! xx

Nels, my homebirth was absolutely amazing!

You just feel in charge, and that was important to me. I remember saying to dh that i dont want to feel like a patient, i want to feel like a mother in charge of giving birth, and from what i heard about most hosp births its turned around, because the drs are in charge.

Our midwife took such good care of us, and she was very gentle, loving, careful and we just felt like she was not taking any chances, and at the same time giving us the space and respect to "have" our baby.

I wouldnt trade it for anything. They monitor you so well through pregnancy, so if they are worried that a homebirth wont be best, they wil certainly tell you.

He gave my Urizone, which is what I normally take since Im allergic to pennicilin (sp?) And for the cold I can take vit C.

Was so amazing to see the baby move and wave and turn and just so alive and active.

Shame, now my LB is sick Hasnt been too happy last few days, and woke up around 4ish with a slight fever. But now high fever and complains of tummy ache. Fell asleep earlier, which is crazy for him, he NEVER sleeps in the day.

Newbiemom@ thats awesome. No more pills. Wow, 2weeks ahead then you thought, thats great. Im sure your son will be so happy. It so great to hear such fantastic news newbie.
