Gosh, time does fly, hey? One more week until I join the rest of you in third trimester! I must say, it's interesting being due right at the end of August and hearing from you all what to expect a few weeks before I experience it myself :) This really is a great group

Thanks so much wide-eyed, so sweet of you :)
We had our shoot last Saturday, was loads of fun

Your scan sounds far away at the moment, but time is flying! One week left then we're in June

 Sorry Angie! Do keep an eye on things - getting fluids and vitamins and keeping your immune system strong. Are we allowed to take Viralguard when pregnant? It has garlic extract, propolis, and other immune boosting natural ingredients.

Ooh Stella, that's also not fun. I've had heartburn on and off, but it was really bad yesterday too - I think I took 3 doses of Gaviscon during the day! Today is better, but still affects me when I try to lie down

Enjoy your scans ladies! My next appointment with the midwife is on June 12, but I don't have another scan until July 29th @36 weeks :( Looking forward to seeing your pics though :)

Btw, love your new profile pic Bellyhearts - you're showing nicely now, and the A for Amber is just too precious!

oh I see.. just want to know if I experience similar pains in future. hope the pain goes away quickly. welcome Zaza.
I had a few moments that I just giggled today.. (people at work must think I'm losing it) I could see little Alexander move and he wasn't holding back with the moves.. my whole tummy was making funny shapes.. haha.. wish I could share it with hubby. hopefully it happens again soon.

may you all have a wonderful evening.. we have load shedding from 17:00. on the upside.. Load shedding means I can't do much work at home.

baby on the way: March / April 2018

Ctelly, it is like a stabbing pain and it feels like its in the bone itself.
it hectic today, like walking is very painful today. i had the exact sam thing with my previous pregnancy, so im not worried about it. its just very crap.

o no Angie just watch yourself and get tested for it the moment you do not feel well.

hi there Zaza, when is your due date? you are new to the thread, so i would like to add you to our list. please tell us a bit more about yourself and your pregnancy.

Oh that's terrible!
Hoping you aren't affected Angie.

Little note: A Dr once told me that if there are sick people in the offices to not use an aircon or heater to warm up the office. Apparantely the hot air from the aircons and heaters helps the flu virus to grow and infect.
I rather keep a warm jacket on till it warms up, or when it's really cold I have a nice snuggly blankey for my legs.

I've also banned anyone and everyone that even looks like they have a sniffle from my office. They can stand in the door to talk to me if need be, otherwise I've asked everyone really nicely to stay away from me if they have flu or even a cold!
So far people have been very understanding of my reasons... hard to medicate a pregnant woman, when everyone else can go on flu meds and antibiotics.

Stella I thoroughly sympathise with you on the heartburn. I have heartburn daily! somedays really bad, other days it's manageable.
The only thing I find helps is drinking about 2 to 4 teaspoons Gaviscon Plus, and a glass of milk directly afterwards. Then I chew gum all day to keep the taste and burn out of my throat. (the burn in my throat gives me an awful cough!)
Doesn't always work, but most of the time it does.

Enjoy the scans coming up ladies!
Can't wait to see new pics! :)
