Astubchen ur c section is my due date  5 September
that's around the corner!!!

I have about 10 sets of newborn I think. Give or take. Not buying more. Have lots of 0-3months... I hear depending on birth weight they newborn can last about 6 weeks if birth weight is small but if on the larger side , he will move on to0-3 months.
Also even if the 0-3 is slightly big, u can always fold the sleeves up a bit? He will wear it longer....

I got sooo many fleecy blankets at my baby shower. I returned a few and for gift cards... Will c what he weighs at birth and buy stuff after that...

My appointment went well thank you, baby is growing and im gaining almost every day lol.I was originally scheduled for a csection for the 28th of August but Dr said he would like to keep her in my tummy for one more week,so im now having my csection on the 5th of September which is ok with me.

Berry he prescribed canesten for me aswell and I must say feeling a whole lot better, phew!!

Been meaning to ask especially to second time moms,I recieved quite alot of newborn clothes so was wondering how long do they usualy wear them for.I still have the slips so my gut is telling me yo go change them for 0-3months I dont want to be left with a tonof clothes she hasnt worn or shez outgrew in two weeks?Correct me if im wrong?

Hi ladies

Berry- Thank you! You couldn't be more right. In going for natural ... Fingers crossed all goes well and no issues!!! I think that everything will be okay tho.

So yesterday I went to UIF office and when I got back home I was feel a bit strange all afternoon. Weird cramps. My right leg was aching a bit. Baby was moving a lot and very low too. I probably went to loo about 15 times yesterday... Hubby said I didn't look 100%.
Last night baby moved a lot too. Not his usual pattern.
His morning I wake up to relief in breAthing and a dropped tummy. :cheer:
Any idea how far down it must go? I don't feel so squashed at the top.
So how long do you ladies think I have with it dropping etc?
I'm currently 37+3 weeks

Sooooooooo nervous!!!!!

Hi Ladies,

TCS84: That Gynae really made me mad. He is trying to use your fears against you just so that he can get the convenience of a scheduled delivery/caesarian. It is sickening really. How you give birth should be up to you. There is no right or wrong way. The best way is your way. Can't believe he is being such a bully. I am no expert on normal birth, but before my Son's birth I asked the midwife what if the cord was around his neck? She said she would put her fingers in "there" and feel. If it was she would simply use her fingers to move the cord over his head. I also asked what if he got "stuck" in the birth canal and she said that there would be more than enough time to transfer from home to a hospital. The hospital was 25mins from our house. During the actual labour she monitored my Son's heart with a fetal dobler every now and again, more towards the end. She encouraged me to move around during labour as that apparently speeds up the process and helps baby to move down etc. When I was 4cm dilated the midwife made me go for a l-o-n-g walk down our road. Probably 700m. It hurt like hell, but when we got back home I was 6cm dilated. So moving around really is recommended and shouldn't interfere with the monitoring of the baby in any way. I would say you have had great antenatal care during your pregnancy and have done loads of test and your baby is normal and healthy and so are you, so you shouldn't treat your delivery as high risk. Go for natural! Am sure you will regret it if you haven't given it a go :)

Astubchen: I know it is safe to use Canesten cream during pregnancy. How did your Doctors appointment go today?

DieSwartKat: Wow 2.7kgs is lovely.

On my side I am also really uncomfortable. Pelvic pain, rib pain, back pain urgh! Sharp shooting vajayjay/bladder pains daily. Every night I go to bed feeling like tonight is THE night. I had period pain two days ago for about half an hour. I remember getting it for days on and off before I went into labour with my Son. The pain was eventually just permanently there and then my water broke and I was in labour. So must be body getting ready for the big day... I am suddenly really busy at work. Am getting in so much new work / new customers daily and it's making me worried. The timing is just wrong! I am so tired at the end of the day and keep telling myself I should be resting and taking it easy because I will need all the energy I can get for labour and birth, but there is no sign of easy days ahead! Hoping I can slow down soon.

Looking forward to having my hair done this Saturday and next Saturday is the Mama Magic show :)

Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow :)

DieSwartKat I so can relate to the uncomfortable everything.I cant remember the last time i had a proper nights rest! And to think in a few weeks there will be no sleeping either!

The symptoms are actually the same I just figured it was a yeast infection because its just itchy and realy uncomfortable there is no pain when I go to the toilet though, well atleast have my Drs appointment today and hopefully I can get something for that.Last thing I want is passing it down to baby :(

Can imagine how relieved you are that the house is ready!I was actually thinking of hiring those spring cleaning people to come and just deep clean my whole apartment before baby arrives as ive been saying ill do it myself but honestly just dont have the energy anymore.

3 weeks today for me! Can't believe I could actually be holding my baby in exactly 3 weeks from now. Wow.

Feeling very uncomfortable, my ribs are aching and battling to sleep at night. In that sense the next 3 weeks can't go quickly enough.

We finished the new section of the house that we are building! I'm ecstatic! Builders have left the premises and only left with a LOT of dust to clean now. Feeling so much relief, I can't even tell you.

My little nephew is arriving at the end of this week, is it wrong that I almost don't want to see him before my own baby is born? I feel like the second I see him it'll make the remaining 2 weeks unbearable for me.

Astubchen, I suffer from terrible itching now and again, but don't have an actual yeast infection. The itching makes me crazy though, and the ointment that the doctor gave me doesn't really help. It's also a hormonal thing, can't wait for my body to be mine again! I would advise you to talk to your doctor now, because yeast infections can be passed from mom to baby. With my first I had a yeast infection (that I didn't even know about) about 10 days after she was born, and she got it from me through breastfeeding. The baby then passes the infection through their own urine/stool, and it causes the most horrific bum rash. Get it sorted and cleared up now. xxx
