Hi Ladies,
DieSwartKat - Thanks for the updated list and info regarding your daughter's weight. My boy was born at 38 weeks and weighed 3.125kgs. So am hoping this baby will also be around the same weight. I think she will also surprise us early at around 38 weeks, mainly because my menstrual cycles have always been on the short side - around 24 days. Don't know if that plays any role at all lol, but am still hopeful as my ribs hurt ouch and restless legs are becoming unbearable in the evenings.
Kamogelo - I don't know if you have pre-eclampsia or not, but I just want to say don't stress about it until you know for sure. I have also had high protein readings in my urine at Gynae visits and she said not too worry as the normal pregnancy discharge can raise your protein levels. Really hope that you don't have that - big hug!
Astubuchen - I have heard of some Gynaes doing caesarian's at 37 weeks and my boy was born naturally at 38 weeks at home and he was perfectly healthy.
Tcs84 - Sorry that you are feeling so uncomfortable, but it's pretty normal for this stage of pregnancy. It is only going to get worse. I think it is our bodies prepping us for the little sleep that we will be getting once baby arrives. No rest for the wicked
Betti - So with you there! We cannot find a comfortable position to be able to do the deed haha. I read about ladies having a lot of sex at the end to try and induce labour naturally, but how I dunno! In my opinion pregnancy is really hard on a relationship. And after the baby is born you have your period for around 4 weeks to 6 weeks, your hormones are all over the place, your boobs are leaking milk and you are exhausted. So a very hard time on a relationship indeed. Everything does get back to normal - eventually
Hope everyone has a lovely evening and gets some sleep.
