Hi all,
Haven't had much time to pop in to check some posts, been babysitting my sister's kids (4 of them!) a 12, 7, 3 year old and 22 months baby girl...I'm exhausted! And this week marks the start of 2nd Semester LLB. To say I'm overwhelmed is an understatement.

Baby is growing at such a rapid rate I can already tell he's running out of space :(, my overly "maternal" boyfriend is a ball of nervous energy..I'm due on the 29 September and yes it's a boy, I'm a first time mom.

I had my last Ob/Gyn visit on the 19 June and was 25+3weeks, everything was great. Now my next appt. is on 21 July (I'll be exactly 30 weeks 8))

I haven't bought or shopped for anything yet (cultural reasons) but soon will be hitting the shops..

Hi ladies

@Gladbeth welcome to our group, hope u enjoy it

I don't think there is nothing rong with changing gynis at 7 months I went to see our family gyni while I was at home 2 weeks back, all he did was call Lancet for my bloods, so just ask ur current gyni for a copy of ur current file.

Hello Mommies

Long time. I see you have been touching on some serious topics very informative and interesting. Makes some of us who are first times be able to at least have an idea what to expect.

Well speaking of Braxton Hicks. Saturday morning I woke up very energetic and thought let me get to some light house chores. The next second all I felt was just pains all over. Felt like someone is busy poking me with a sharp fork. Didn't last long about less than 10min. but they were just so unbearable. I called my mother who is in the medical field and she said to me it sounds like Braxton Hicks and said the more closer to the time I am becoming the more intense and the more bound I am to get them. For a moment there I really thought I was in about to go in labour.

Anyway also speaking about early labour. I have a friend who was due mid July. This morning I woke up to her text with a very adorable healthy baby boy. She wasn't even 39 weeks yet but seems baba had other plans of coming to earth much quicker than expected. I must say I panicked immediately thinking oh gosh would I be ready if baby had to come earlier than expected? Anyway just thought I share that with you guys. I guess right now we getting closer and closer and need to start getting as much prepared as possible. I must say the thought of seeing that cute little face soon is what keeps me going and I am really really looking forward to everything. Even though the thought of Natural birth freaks me out I just keep telling myself that so many women have been through it and survived why cant I?

All the best to us all ladies as now most of us will be in our last few weeks. Lets enjoy those kicks while they last as soon we will blink and they will be all gone.

Dieswartkat: No offense taken... This is what makes us all different and chatting about it gives us in depth knowledge we may not have had or thought about!

I did a maternity shoot this morning. at sunrise.. was good fun ... anyone else did one or will be doing one?

I havent had any Braxton Hicks.. is that normal ladies?

Im so annoyed cos Mama Magic has moved from first week in August to the Last weekend and its so close to my due date. was hoping to get a look at the prams etc there but will have to buy it prior now... i cant wait till so late. i will be 39 weeks at that stage..

Hi ladies long time

For those who have attended the antenatal classes how long do they take? I'm suppose to attend tomorrow and it's my birthday too  so now I need to know how much time will they take me.

DieSwart: On the birth option we the same my darling I don't mean no offense too natural birth scares me to the T I really don't know why and baby daddy want me to have natural, but my gynae has booked me for c-section I think is because my first birth was c-section
