Had a busy weekend again, we are starting building renovations next Monday (finally!) and there's a lot of prep going on at my house to get everything ready.

How cold was Saturday????? We were at a kiddies party in the morning and it was insanely cold.

Had my first Braxton Hicks contractions on Friday (was 28 weeks on Fri), didn't know what it was at first because I didn't have it with my 1st pregnancy. Googled quickly and learnt all about false labour. Meanwhile, I can feel a lot of movement really low down and my tummy is so hard that I'm feeling increasingly worried about early labour. The skin feels so tight that I feel like I want to burst. The discomfort is so massive, I had a few difficult hours in the afternoon. Feeling much better this morning and tummy has relaxed somewhat.

Hi All, My little one due 22 September but I get the snagging feeling he might be coming earlier... When did any of you feel like you get lightning strikes in your vagina sometimes? Is it just the baby kicking really hard?

It is because of the last time. Seeing the Dr that diagnosed the condition the last time because the fetal specialist was out the country.
I'm sure there is one in Durban but this one is my Uncles friend who asked to see us to triple check everything... So we are happy to see him if he wants to see us although I am not to keen on the traveling to JHB part. Will be driving as husband thinks it's risky to fly now...

Never known anyone to see a paed cardio before, is that because of what happened in your previous pregnancy or by choice? Also, why Jhb? Isn't there a specialist that's a little closer to home for you?
