Mommy4 and astubchen, congrats on your girls! At the beginning of our journey it was just boys, boys, boys. So glad we are having a few girls too.

So went to ser my gynie today for the first time,I was quite happy with him.He was very informative and gave me lot of information,its confirmed im having a baby girl and I am 27 weeks far along.So yay about that

He took my blood pressure and it was way too high so he has put me on treatment hopefully that will help,im a bit bumbed about that but I am trying to concentrate on the positive rather.If any mommies have experienced this sone thoughts would be appreciated ,im mainly worried about the fact that it increases my chances of pretem labour and a c-section.

This weekend im going to do a bit of shopping for baby so quite excited about that.

@TCS84: It's my 2nd pregnancy love and my gynae & Dr said it was a girl so I believe they can't be both wrong but I'll keep on checking on my next visits my next appo is on the 20th of this month.

Welcome to our group! Congrats with your angel-on-the-way, is this your first pregnancy and do you know the gender yet?

I'm lucky because my Dr does a 4d scan with every visit from 12 weeks onwards, as part of her consultation fee. From my previous pregnancy I can tell you that the best scans are between 25 - 30 weeks, then the baby is beautifully developed and you almost see a photo-like picture of your baby. After 30 weeks things become a bit cramped for the baby and the scans are not as great.
