Hello all,

Special welcome to NozN, congrats on your little girl!

Berry, I'm also 22 weeks and I'm getting seriously uncomfortable with round ligament pain. I can walk for a few minutes (15 or so) and then I get the most horrible aces in my abdomen, pelvis and inner thighs. I've read up on it and it is apparently normal, but jeez it can be quite painful.

I feel so much bigger than I did previously, my tummy is rock hard and it feels like my ribs want to crack. And this is only week 22!

I don't have too much trouble with itching, but the heartburn is keeping me awake at night. The nausea has been gone for exactly 2 weeks now, woohoo! Blood pressure also a lot better and more stable. Otherwise having some back pain and swollen feet, but nothing is worse than the nausea so overall I'm a happy camper! :woohoo:

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I have been so quiet. Had a hectic 2 weeks as my Pc packed up and that left me with such backlog and many unhappy customers. Slowly getting back on track again.

Congrats to everyone with their lovely scans and our first September girl yay :)

I am 22 weeks along now and my tummy and boobs are soooo itchy! I am too scared to scratch as I have heard that will cause stretch marks - so I rub haha. But I have woken up a few times during the night whilst "sleep scratching" yikes! I apply oil morning and night, but that doesn't seem to make a difference.
Also been having pelvic pressure / pain. Sometimes so bad that I want to cry. Can't remember having that so early with my first pregnancy. I really want to stop carrying my boy around, but he won't have it and will now tantrum on the parking lot floor if I take him out the car seat and expect him to walk. Shame it's hard cause I spoilt him and now he doesn't understand!

How are you all doing? Does anyone have a Dr's appointment this week?

Hi mommies
So, we had our anomaly scan today, and everything's looking good. Gynae reckons there's a 90% chance it's a girl, but she won't rule out the chance of undescended testes just yet. I'm hoping we'll get to join Vendah on team pink! :) Gynae says it's a very active baby (different from the last scan), which I can feel, so it looks like we'll have our hands full when (s)he finally arrives!

Sorry to hear about your cold Die Swart Kat. I've alo picked up a bit of flu from DH, and am feeling pretty horrible tonight. That irritating post nasal drip is so much worse than before, and I'm sore all over. Panado also really isn't doing much for me, so I'm glad the gynae has given me the go-ahead to take a bit of Med Lemon. I'm hoping it gives me a bit of relief, even for a short while. Hope you come right soon too! Glad to know your little boy is doing well. :)

Wow Betti! Leaking colostrum already? That would be a bit gross for me too! Shows you that you're getting closer though!!

Have a good Friday and weekend. Jealous for Mama Magic in Gauteng this weekend. Durban is only at the end of August, so I'll have all my important stuff by then. It'll still be enjoyable to waddle around though, if Boontjie allows and doesn't arrive early.

Hi all,

Had my anomaly scan yesterday and everything is absolutely perfect! Saw all the organs etc, but didn't get to see proper facial pics because he is in bridge position at the moment. He weighs a healthy 445g, already 30% bigger than my little girl weighed at the same scan in 2012.

I have a hectic cold, everything hurts. Panado & med Lemon isn't really doing the trick, so tired...zzzZZZZZz......
