Hiii Ladies!!

I'm back from the "dead"

Got back from my holiday on Monday. Was amazing... Had a great time however my feet were swollen like nothing I've ever had. It was beeeeg. Weird thing is , it's now back to normal. Think I danced to much at the wedding etc.

How are we all doing? I had my 4D scan yest and the little guy refused to show us his face. Kept hiding it!!! So disappointed. Then had my routine check up. dr put machine on 4D and tried to get us a shot which he did for a bit then he hid his face again. *sigh*

26 weeks this week. Can't believe how time is flying by!! It's crazy.... My kicks r so strong now. My whole tummy moves lol and he is far more active I feel. Or I jst feel it more I suppose.

berry: congrats on your baby girl! How exciting :woohoo:

Astubchen: Welcome to the group!! I see Dr SP Rampersadh at Westville hosp. He is amazing to say the least. I haven't paid anything out my pocket yet. My medical aid covers my check ups. In terms of delivery I haven't asked about costs etc yet. Call his rooms and query. The ladies are very helpful as well.
Good luck!!

Hi ladies,

Sorry for the absence, a nasty tummy bug is doing the rounds on my end and I felt like I was on death's doorstep for a few days.

Berry, congrats on your girl! You are going to adore being a girl-mom, there's just something extra special about it. I'm glad you know the gender now, happy shopping!

Welcome to our little group astubchen, hope you get to know you a little bit better. Do you know the gender of your baby yet? I'm based in Jhb and can't give any advice on gynaes in Dbn, but I will say that your doctor is very cheap compared to what we pay up here in Jhb. The shortfall on delivery is more or less the same (around R4k), and my visits are now R600 each of which the medical aid pays nothing. It all depends on your medical aid scheme, I'm on a decent plan but not a comprehensive one, so lots of the visits are either partially cash or completely cash. The important thing is to make sure that you are covered 100% for hospital expenses, that's where the serious costs are.

Hi mommies, hope you all well with the little ones.

Im fairly new here and also due in September,im currently in Durban.
A little help mommies in which gynaecologist you are seeing, can't seem to find one.Was previously with Dr Pather however wasn't happy after having a miscarriage in her care,I tried making a booking with Dr Naseera Mohammed but was bumped when I found out I have to pay R300 for each visit plus R4000 on delivery while being on medical aid..Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Goodluck with the little ones.
