any advice on how to choose when the time comes?


Have you tried ginger to help with the nausea etc? apparently it works well..

Sucks to be back at work, doesn't it? It's dead here, and were only halfway through the day

I felt my first movements this weekend. On Saturday it was just a bubbling sensation, but this morning at 3am I felt proper movement. Not a kick or anything like that, but I could clearly feel a bit of movement. Very exciting. Except that I was awake at 3am. And apparently so was he!

Like you guys I've googled a bunch of baby stuff. I have most of what I need from our first baby, so this time my list has more "nice-to-haves" rather than crucial "must haves". My sister asked me to start a pinterest board as my wishlist, she'll send it on to whoever asks. It works pretty well, cool idea.

Feeling slightly sick again today, haven't thrown up yet but I have a sneaky feeling that it's not far off

I'm also the same. I'm so very tired and can't focus on work or studies. I've researched stuff like breastmilk storage bags, breast pumps, nipple creams, etc but I can't finish a report for work... I need to get into the work zone ASAP...

Wow, what a wonderful surprise!! im waiting for my goody bag to be delivered. i currently have one from the last pregnancy which i never got the chance to use. so im looking forward to seeing if they sent the same stuff more than a year later...

im still working from home... Dh is slowly getting better but coughly alot. post nasal is so not fun. ive never had it but i dont ever after seeing him suffer with it!

how was everyones easter?

im 18 weeks today. You know they say that in your second trimester you get all your energy back etc. but i feel even more lazy than my 1st trimester. all i want to do is sleep. DH and i had the laziest of weekends. we slept and watched movies all weekend. went to the shopping mall for a bit yesterday and eventually we came home and passed out then woke up and watched 3 movies!!! i got out of bed after 9am today!!! i am normally a 5am riser... dont know whats happening to me!! i am lost gumption and just want to sleep...

Betti, can't you take anything to boost your immunity? It can't be easy.

I'm with Fedhealth and last week they sent me an sms that I should go to Baby City to collect a baby bag. I was surprised because I thought this is a little early, but I'm not complaining. The smaller size products will make it easier for me to pack for baby when I go to hospital.

Hope everyone is enjoying Easter and relaxing a bit! We are visiting my in-laws, but returning home tomorrow, after which it's packing to move.

I count myself very lucky to not have had any morning sickness, just a bit of nausea, but no vomiting. I can't imagine how taxing it must be on your body in addition to the other symptoms.

Unlucky for me, though, I have really severe round ligament pain and can't remain in one position for long OR move around too much or I double up from the pain when I move. Doc says it's perfectly normal and some women just get it worse than others. Has to do with my stretching uterus and the weight of the baby.

I've also had a REALLY low immunity and if I even come into remote contact with any contagious disease I get it. Sunday till Tuesday it was a stomach bug and now it's a chest cold. Don't want to go see the doctor about the cold since my medical aid is slowly but surely being depleted and I need it for more important things.

On the upside, I'm starting to develop a little bump at last! Isn't it funny how people, when they greet you, first look at your bump and then at your face? Lol!

How are you guys doing? Also starting to look a bit pregnant?
