Thanks Pillpusher and Juanita,
Hahaha, with my MIL I have started to just let things pass. She is incredibly self centred, albeit well meaning most of the time. We usually dont accommodate her whims and I can mostly get hubby to deal with her, which is a massive help. But sometimes it gets to me a bit. Isn't it strange how, just because we're pregnant, people think that its ok to violate boundaries that are normally a no-go? Like touching ones tummy or comments about ones physique, weight gain etc?? Oh and the unsolicited advice about private matters!!
On ceasar dates, I agree Pillpusher, it should be decided around what is best for the baby (and mommy). My first LG was going to be a scheduled ceasar, due to medical reasons, but then at 38 week exam the dr found that her oxygen was starting to run low and that she was at risk of going into distress, so the date was moved forward. I'm very glad about that, but if baby can safely stay in tummy for a while longer, I guess that is usually the best.
LOL, yes our naming dilemma... for now I have decided to go with the less complicated spelling of Niav (hubby still likes Niamh though), and it is also much closer to how the name is pronounced ("Ni-ev"). But keeping eyes open for alternatives... My due date (scheduled ceasar) is 2 Nov.
I'm also starting to get tired again, and not sleeping well. But it's not due to being uncomfortable (yet) I just don't seem to sleep deeply anymore. All of a sudden. Any of you ladies find the same?
