LM your girls look exactly the same so cute man and beautiful 4D scans!

Hope your Lg is better, that's exactly what Alexis had and she is still getting over it a whole week later! Just keep checking for wheezing as that's what my Paed was worrying about as that's usually a sign of pneumonia which she had had two patients booked in the second time we went in, so it's definitely doing the rounds!

Juanita glad your lg is doing well and at a nice healthy weight.

Zandri I wouldn't be too worried 1.4 at 30 weeks doesn't sound so small and to be worried about, if my lb is 1.3kg at 29 weeks, sounds normal with my Lg she was 1.28kg at 28 weeks and when I went in for my 32 week scan she was a whopping 1.8kg just as long as you are eating and not starving yourself I wouldn't worry and if you find you can't eat there is always the M2M shakes to compensate. Glad you eventually got some sleep, it's amazing what a few zzz's do to you!

Someone was mentioning being hungry at night, thankfully I haven't reached that point just yet, but I read an article with my first born that a slice of bread with peanut butter and honey is a good snack that or a banana, I can't stomach the thought of a banana so I'll be sticking to the bread slice and I love peanut butter, I find it is really filling and I'm not hungry for a while after.

I am suffering terribly with swollen feet today and with Hubby having flu now as well I've started with the dreaded sore throat and blocked nose.

I have my antenatal class tomorrow and don't think it's a good thing hubby goes with his flu and all, will see tomorrow how he is, hopefully after a bit of salt gargling my sore throat will disappear and I'll be good as new

@-Juanita - happy to hear everything went well at the Dr. Also happy to hear about your babies weight. My boy weighed 1.4 kg at 30 weeks and I was told to eat more Lol. They said he was fine but I need to eat more now to compensate for the 200g he needs to pick up every week.

@PP- I have not looked at the diaper champ. My mother bought me the Angelcare deluxe nappy disposal system. I have thus not looked at any other brands. My sister also had the Angelcare and she had no complaints, so hoping it works well. - Oh but we plan on switching to cloth diapers after 3 months so the bin will mostly be used for wet wipes and so on anyway.

I am in such a good mood today because I finally got some sleep
I ended up with 3 pillows and my preggy pillow between my legs and tucked under my belly. My poor hubby (who likes to cuddle) could not come near me with all the pillows. But at least it helped. Still got up about 4 times to go to the loo but I do that in my sleep now anyway.

@HVDB - i tried patting my belly rhythmically and it worked like a charm. Baby went to sleep after a while.

Its amazing what a good nights rest can do

Just came from dr, all good with lg. Im about 33 weeks (and 3 days) and shes weighing 2kg so thats about normal weight. not too big and not as small as we thought. Dr says everything looks good and no reason for me not to be able to go another 5 weeks.

And found someone in Jeffrey's Bay that is selling a Diaper champ for R150 I've just got to try make arrangements for someone to pick it up for me 'cause I'm not too keen on driving out there, although it isn't too far.

Sorry to hear about your bad UIF 3rd party experiences, Zandri and HDVB! I was given so many recommendations from people who had actually used specific services so I chose one based on the personal experience of others. Unfortunately doesn't help you much where you are.

@HDVB - glad all is well. It can be a few weeks after the mucous plug comes out before anything happens... but it's still exciting! I'm really looking forward to the appointment on Monday just to know what's going on, how much she's weighing, etc. I've got a feeling she's going to come earlier than her EDD, but we'll have to see.

@LouiseM - wow, they do look very alike!

@Juanita - good luck with the temp and all the hassles! I hope you feel better soon.

Happy to hear everything is going well and thanx for the advice I will try tonight. I think our baby will be tall and he is already taking up all the space and that why I am so uncomfortable. I am very happy that he is so active because it is a good sign. I just need to figure out his sleeping patterns and try to adapt to him. 5 weeks until my maternity leave then I will sleep as much as I can.

Had my Dr appointment this morning... all seems to be fine. She says she had so many patients loosing their mucus plugs and still giving birth on the planned date that she is not worried at all. Baba is doing just fine. It is going to be a tiny baby... I am just over 35 weeks and baby is now 2.1kg, she said that we are looking at about 2.8/9kg's, but it is in the genes... so now my head is saying little girl but who knows.... we will just have to wait and see, only 3 more weeks. She gave me some meds to calm down the braxton's as she doesn't like it me having it about every 20min... she said that I have a very irritated uterine due to the fibroid, (had one on the screening bed.. and you could clearly see the fibroid, size of a tennis ball). So the meds will give me some relief.

@Zandri, I have the same with this one... both feet under my ribs (right side) but it is getting better now that baby has moved down. He/she kicks me every time I turn or change sides during the night, not to mention the hick-ups I started feeling the last 3 days and nights... Just hang in there.... remember, moving around puts baby to sleep.... so when you are lying down baby wakes up... have you tried playing calming music and patting your belly rhythmically? Maybe it would word... I read something somewhere about it... just cant remember where...
