@PP... no, no leaking what so ever on my side... I have noticed a little but of a crust on one nipple which might be milk that hardened like LM mentioned but it is so little it might just be a little dryness.

Pillpusher, on the "leaking breasts" - it doesn't happen with a stream or gush...

With my first I only noticed 2 weeks prior to her birth, that if I took my bra off, I would notice small "sweat like" marks where my nipples are. It's easier to actually see it on a flesh coloured bra.

But you actually have to massage your breast (from the back towards your nipple - google hand expressing), that way you will most certainly see if something comes out. It might start of "watery", but will then turn milky. And it comes out in different holes throughout your nipple.

Also have a look between the "nipple cracks" if you see something looking like build-up... thats breast juices that hardened

My friend who was pregnant with me 6 years ago, and now again never had the leaking - not everyone is prone to it, but trust me - you'll have your fair share once your milk comes in!!!

as for the leaking breasts, that is NO indication of whether you will be able to bf or not. My friend that had her 3rd baby in June, NEVER leaked, with any of her kids and shes like a super breastfeeder she has bf her 2 first up till after 1 year!!
with my 1st lg i started leaking at about 32 weeks but it came and went and i was also able to bf Leandi just fine. so please, dont stress about that, im sure you will do just fine. the secret is to relax.
ive heard that alot of moms ask for Espidral (of so iets) when they are in hospital to help the milk come in, but obviously thats a last resort becoz its not just a one pill story, you will need to wean yourself off it .....

The swaddling thing i think is also a bit harder with summer babies. becoz they get warm so easily its hard to swaddle them when all they want to do is stretch out and get some air. Leandi was born in Jan and she was def in no mood to be swaddled, ever. im sure it also has to do with her personality?? best to take your baby's cue on this one

Weekend was definitely too short... but I was working so that didn't really lead to happy weekend feelings.

To all the BH mommies - sterkte. I think I'm getting more, but the main "symptom" is the sudden urge to pee, usually when I'm walking around.

My bug bear at the moment is waking up at about 2am to go pee (thankfully usually only once a night), but then struggling to fall asleep again (over an hour lying awake). Or like last night when I got home from work I went to lie down for a nap and even though my eyes were super heavy tired, nothing happened.

@LouiseM - yes, the swaddling was interesting, but I was reading in a La Leche league book (The womanly art of breastfeeding) that swaddling isn't good for all babies because although it's good for that "cocoon" effect, it can also be restrictive, possibly cause breathing problems and is better for prem babies than full term? Seems like there's conflicting info... I think whatever works best for the individual baby is probably the way to go though.

@HVDB - have you had any leaking in your breasts yet? Since we're the same gestational age and FTMs, I was wondering if you've experienced it because I haven't. I know I shouldn't fret, but I just get worried about when it will happen because I really want to be able to breastfeed.

Well, what started off as a good day, didnt turn out so great in the end My 2 friends that was organising my babyshower had a massive fall out a couple of weeks ago and although they both assured me their fight wouldnt get in the way of our special day, it did Their politics and jelousy just got to such a point where i couldnt take it anymore and so i cancelled the whole thing!! i will rather spend a afternoon alone with each of my friends and thats that.

im sad and angry and dissapointed all at once but what consoles me is that i know my baby is so blessed already and shes not even born yet!! i know that God will not let her have any shortcomings or need for anything, EVER.

@hvdb i know what you talking about regarding BH, they getting bad for me too, last night was worse . I think am over this pregnancy lol, 6 weeks seems far.
I took my DS to school today and they only going back tomorrow, after a long break he was looking forward to going and he started crying cause no one was there and i just weeped when i got home, i felt like a bad mother , how do i forget this , he even said mommy am sad , but well i can't help it.
