Morning mommies!
Juanita, sorry to hear you're sick again...

And this cold wet weather we've been having is not helping at all!
But I love the rainy days...
Lauz, I've got the same cramping in front. It's especially damn sore when I have to put on socks, sneakers or something feet related... And yesterday I was busy sorting out my daughter's hair as a prevention (rainy weather always causes a massive lice outbreak at the school) and Just combing and spraying her hair, was absolute pure torture on my posture... not too mention the struggle just to raise my arms! My goodness...
But compared to my 1st pregnancy, I really can't complain. I suffered from 5 months already, where I'm only starting to get uncomfortable now, and I'm 7 months.
Attended the Baby Sense seminar on Saturday. With the rainy weather I was seriously doubting to go, but sooooo happy I went in the end... Didn't win any of the spot prizes, but the session was SO informative!
From the 200 people, we were only 10 second or third time parents - everyone else was first time parents. And to be honest - I think it was much more informative for "been there already" parents, as you actually "know" what they are talking about, you have a reference guide from your first on what worked, what didn't an what you have to concentrate on more... I think for someone attending with their first, it could've been quite overwhelming, cause you have nothing to compare/reference it up to?
I also had the new Baby Sense book, and with Sr Anne Richardson as one of the speakers, it was great to follow in the book and highlight all the important bits.
One thing we never really got down with Elmarise, was the importance of swaddling... but then, she never really liked being "convined". But I bet in certain case (when she was ill or over stimulated), swaddling would have helped ALOT!
They even showed us how to swaddle/relax your baby with no blanket and I think that was awesome!
AFM... Larissa has definitely increased in size! I have noticed movements and kicks all over my belly now, and not just on one side or a specific spot. BH still a %&$#@, but it also comes with some reassurance. Heartburn starting to pop up
Well, have a great day mommies and a fabulous week!
