Hello ladies.
Welcome to all the new mommies that I haven't welcomed yet

.
I have been trying to type this for a few hours so if any updates come through I will have to catch up :0).
I have had read all your updates and I love all the pics! SO PRECIOUS!
Thank you for all your messages of concern and condolences. Much appreciated
Just some advice for you ladies - have everything ready by 30 - 32 weeks. U going to be sore and its going to be hot and then you have time to relax and enjoy the last few weeks. I had my hospital bags packed and just a list of stuff like toothbrush, etc that my husband needed to pack in which helped a lot for when he needed to go fetch them :0). He did keep on forgetting my hairbrush so my hair was a birds nest for 2 days because when you go into theatre, they ask you to make your hair loose and just tuck it into the hospital cap.
Unless you have a medical reasons for a c section, you might have problems with the claim to medical aid so just keep that in mind. I am going for a check up tomorrow afternoon with my cardiologist so I will get a motivational letter from him regarding the c section.
Last week was a horrible week. It started on Saturday with my mom in law's uncle passing away, my gran on Sunday, our sausage dog also got hurt during the day on Wednesday and I only noticed these deep cuts down to the muscle on his side an hour after we got home because he was acting normally so he had to be kept overnight and knocked out the next morning to be stitched up. He has about 16 stiches! My husbands distant cousin also passed away on Thursday, we get a R8000 municipality bill and our bill is usually under R2000 so we dealing with that and then my scare on Sunday so you can just imagine the week we have had so that's why I have been MIA.

@Zaza - Congrats on joining team pink!! We are well. No more spotting or anything, it was just once off it seems and it felt like I had contractions at the same time but when I got to hospital there was nothing so I take it that it was Braxton hicks. Here is a link that you can read up about it

No problems with Daniella, I just was borderline gestational diabetes so I had to see a dietician to prevent it and I had to get a device so I could check my sugar levels every now and then. It was so awesome when they brought me jelly and custard to eat after surgery because I couldn't have it during the last few weeks and was awesome to eat whatever I wanted and not worry :0). Congrats on your sugar test being clear! That solution they give you to drink is nasty! I love the name chosen for your daughter! Its so beautiful.
@ Nisha - Glad you are all well and settled and that you have met your doctor, etc. That's a lot of stress and worry off your mind. Now u can actually focus on the things you should with the move, etc behind you. I am taking preg omega plus. How's cape town so far? U guys must go to the blue peter hotel on a nice day.
www.bluepeter.co.za/ u can sit on the grass over looking the mountain and sea and they make such yummy pizzas :0). Have a look here, I see that they have a branch in cape town and they have awesome stuff and very reasonable and its fine furniture and you can choose a colour you want or you can paint it yourself and that's what we usually do. We brought a cot from them a while ago and we brought a single bed recently for Daniella with clip on toddler rails.

@Lashy - Congrats on joining team PINK. I am holding thumbs that everything goes well with the house. Keep us posted!
Pregnantfairy: I prefer a comfy chair to a rocking chair, a rocking chair is actually hard to get out of if you have a sleeping baby and you are still recovering from surgery or natural. To me its not practical :0). I stole my husbands computer chair which was awesome and I just kept putting baby blankets on it to make it pretty
@Miggie - Amazing how clear that pic came out- stunning. Do you notice a resemblance from your first born?
@Carmy - So precious! Love the name!
I am planning to end work on Friday the 20th November. I don't want to push it too much towards the end. Heart defects are linked to premature births but we will ask my cardiologist tomorrow. My defect is very mild and the cardiologist was happy with me during my first pregnancy. I just have to make sure they give me anti biotics before surgery otherwise I can get endocarditis but I wrote it on my pre admission form for the hospital and my doctor knows and I will tell the anaesthetist when he comes to chat to me before surgery.
I have been feeling lots of movements and they get stronger everyday. She seems to be favouring the right side at the moment so I feel off balance most of the time. On Monday I was lying on the couch on my right side and I could feel her getting comfy on that side, when I wanted to get up, I nearly fell over :0).
I have attached a bump pic that I took on Tuesday! Have a good afternoon ladies xx
