Wow! It's been awhile since I've last logged on...

How you all doing? I cannot believe how big our babies are, felt like yesterday we were all pregnant together!

So this is Kiara at 5 months and she's cutting her bottom teeth but has no interest in sitting...

MamaK - your little girl is so gorgeous!! Dont worry I think all mommies go through that rollercoaster ride when deciding what to do with solids! Whatever you decide is best for baby as long as they healthy thats what I believe!

Blou - Your little man is handsome!! Wow my little man weighs only 7.1kg now lol a wee little man! I am also struggling to maintain pumping at with work stress doing some damage!! I am hoping to keep baby on mommie milk exclusively till at least 12 months! I think I read they start drinking less milk from then on so hopefully it will be easier to maintain enough milk supply for baby! I decided to do BLW a bit later for this month I am giving home puréed butternut, carrots and apple. He is not too fond of avo lol!

Maj - my Connor wants to take any food we busy eating from our plates and wants to shove it in his mouth hahahaha! So he is also very much curious about this food story. He has two toothies now and he started teething when he was 4 months old and they cut through when he was 5 months old. Its been making him drool, fuss, pull at ears and at times be very emotional! shame!! As for the sleeping yes I miss the days I could wrap him up and he would be happy as a bug in a rug! Most days he falls asleep at the boob at night and during the day he wants his blankie and dummy for him to fall asleep. Allot of times we have to resort to rocking to get him to sleep.

Did anyone's baby fuss a bit at the boob after the introduction of the bottle? I think mine kinda prefers the fast flow of the bottle so fusses a bit by the boob!

What beautiful babies!!

My daughter was born on 10th May 2016! How time has flown!

This is my 2nd baby, but my elder daughter is 4 so I have forgotten a lot!!

I have started on fruit and veges just after she was 5 months. She was showing too much interest in food!!
I also wanted to do baby led weaning, but she was not sitting unsupported. So I kinda used principles off it. Like the type of foods, and rather than making smooth purees, I mash it so it has texture! I tried holding the food and letting her direct it to my mouth, but it didn't work too well.

How's the teething going? Everyone tells me my daughter is teething, but they have been saying that since 4 months, and no teeth!

Have you also experienced a change in sleeping? My daughter used to fall asleep if I swaddled her, and put her in her cot. Now she will only sleep if she is rocked!!

Hello mommies!

My little boy was 6 months on Monday, he was born on 24 April 2016. Went for his checkup at the pediatrician today and she is very happy with everything, he weighs 8kg now.

I am still breastfeeding exclusively, pumping at work so he gets breastmilk during the day, still going well thankfully, been a stressful time at work so been working very hard to maintain my pumping supply at work, so thankful to be able to pump at work.

Have to start solids now and I am not sure what to do, I really want to do baby led weaning, but he is not sitting unassisted yet, so not sure if I should still wait a bit, I am considering starting with fresh fruit and or veg purees until he is ready for baby led weaning.

Can't believe it has been 6 months already since our little man joined our lives, he is such a blessing!
