@ Sons, I can only laugh at Connor's tantrums as my little Rosalie is so fiesty and has the tantrums and the "No No No" down to a T  You are so lucky as the last month or so she wakes 2x a night to pee pee but then will only go back to sleep in our bed...hmm. Oh my word you mustve gotten such a fright but funny I was just talking to hubs and it seems like she wants her own bed as sleeps much better on a bed and not in her cot.
Rosalie potty trained herself at 18m so we just use a nappy at night but she wakes up to pee pee and only one or twice she wet her nappy. She talks a lot and put 2-3 words together but some sentences we just can't make out so we ask her to show us.
Yess today is so boiling in Cpt!

@ Mama, thanks and all of the best in 2018 for you too! I sent Rosalie to a day mother (with her 2x cousins) since she was a year old (20m now) but only started off every Monday for the morning and now she goes 3x times a week but only mornings. In the next following months I will be sending her 5x days a week but still only half day. It is difficult at first to drop them off but now I look forward to the mornings off.

AFM, I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and going for my first scan on the 2 Feb, super excited.

Hello Ladies,
Happy New year to you all and all the best for 2018. I have not logged on in yonks. I managed to catch up on a few updates. Congrats Blou and all the best to you Jay-Bee.

My lil girl is 20 months now (born 20th April) and she is such a busy body. My husband and I struggle to keep up. She is still not sleeping through out the night, wakes up twice, I could just cry. The talking is getting clearer by the minute, she can put together 2-3 words now and most of the times we understand what she's saying. She loves cartoons even sings along to some of the songs, and dances to them as well. We've downloaded some of her favorites from from YouTube and she knows how to navigate our phones and the tablet to Youtube to watch videos. She'll listen to the same song over and over again sometimes she just falls asleep right there and then.

We have decided to take her to play school this year starting her out on a 3-day week, and I am so nervous. I hope it all works out.

I am still in two minds about ttc. I know I'm ready and want to but the timing is just not great. i am in the market for a new job and went for a few interviews which were quite positive, wonderif i should put off ttc until i have changed jobs or what, *sigh*.

I got off the pill last month though so I'm like if it happens it happens.

Hi there Ladies!!

First of all Congrats Blou Sonneblom!! That is amazing news!! Hope all goes well with the pregnancy even though I see you struggling with nausea shame!! So sorry to hear that your work is treating you so badly that is not nice of them. Hope the situation gets better at work or that you find the perfect job for you. How did your scan go?

Jay-Bee, any news? How is the ttc going?

So much has changed since I was last online! Connor is growing by leaps and bounds and mamma is struggling to keep up hahaha!! He is most definitely hitting that famous terrible two's early! He also trows stuff across the room when its not what he wants or if he is moaned at then he trows whatever is in his hands. Also at the height of a tantrum he will go lie down on the floor (not fall but a ever so graceful flop lol) and cry there.

As far as food is concerned Connor is eating so well now. He is even eating well with a spoon and fork. He does not leave my plate alone though lol every time I eat he has to stick his hands in there and help himself to some of my food. It sometimes looks like I dont feed my child hahahaha....

Jay-Bee, Connor is now only napping once a day from about 11 12 ish and then he sleeps for about 2 to 3 hours. At night he sleeps through so we are truly blessed there.

Does any of your little ones sleep in a bed already? Connor still sleeps in his cot but last weekend my heart stood still as I checked in on him while he napped and found him out his cot and ontop of the drawerset next to the cot. Just calmly sitting there and playing with all the goodies ontop of the drawers. I am starting to think about moving him to a bed but not to sure how to go about it.

Talking is still going slow. We are still at just single words. He has added a few words we can make out, like our cats he calls kitties and dogs he calls woofs hahahaha

Otherwise all is well with me and my family just trying to survive the heatwave B)

Hope you all have a wonderful day further!!

@Jay-Bee01, thank you and good luck! I really hope you get a BFP very soon!

Just an update from my side, I will be 12 weeks tomorrow, due date is officially 1 June 2018. I had a rough first trimester with nausea and extreme fatigue, I am not as tired anymore but still have nausea most of the time, luckily no vomiting. This is different for me as I had almost no nausea with my first. I have been very moody and emotional, and after my managers were not very excited when I announced this pregnancy, I am just feeling very sad and angry today. This baby should be celebrated, but instead they see it as an inconvenience to them and just another 4 months of maternity leave for me (which they think is a holiday). I am strongly considering trying to find another job but not sure if I will be able to while I am pregnant. After 6 years at the company I really feel disappointed in the way I have been treated this time. For now I am just looking forward to December and holiday and being with family who will be excited with me about this pregnancy!

But anyway, we will be going for another scan on Saturday, just to see if all is still fine, but I do not want to find out the gender yet.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Hi ladies! I hope you are all well? I can't believe my son will be 18 months next week, how time flies! I am still breastfeeding, for the past 2 months I could not understand why I kept struggling with low supply, I felt so sad and decided to start weaning when he is 18 months...

But then I started feeling weird, I did not feel well at all, something just felt off, so 2 days ago I decided to take a pregnancy test, and sure enough, turns out we are expecting baby number 2! I never had a period again since I fell pregnant the first time so I really do not know when I ovulated or how far along I am, blood test shows I am further than 6 weeks along, so we are going for a scan on Saturday to find out how many weeks.

I am excited and scared all at the same time, I can't believe journey number 2 is starting for us!!! :woohoo:

Hi Sons,

Once they start walking there is no rest for us! :) Rosalie now climbs on the couch and bed which really give me a heart attack. She has started small tantrums like if I give her some water and she wants milk she will throw the sippy cup across the room. Has Connor started doing anything funny like tantrum wise.

She says daddy, mama, hello, baba, and can count two and three. I think they start picking up the language and start talking round about now, but not sure. Good question as we took it really easy with more chunkier foods as was so scared that she choked. She eats now anything sized finger foods but does put the spoon to her mouth but most of the food falls off. I ready that a toddler should have learnt the skill of self feeding by 18 months so we still have time

Does Connor nap once or twice a day? Rosalie does from 9am till 10am and then 1pm till 3pm but it seems like she will be dropping her morning nap.

We are going to start trying for our next little one in October so hoping it will not take as long as it did with her.

Have a super week and weekend ahead
