hi ladies.how are you all doing.

we are doing better everyday.breastfeeding is going well.he loves his milk and is picking up weight well. we are getting a little bit more sleep aswell.going for his 2 week check up tomorrow.how time has flown by.

Hi Pinky, congrats on the birth. I’m glad everything went well.

The adjustment is hard. We’ve been learning by trial and error. I’m grateful to have a few supportive friends on WhatsApp that have had babies and are helping with advice. We struggled with winds... used gripe water now once yesterday and once at 2am today and it really seems to have made a difference to her. She is so much calmer. I hate it when they cry and you don’t know what’s wrong... I’ve never felt more useless in my life. Actually wanted to cry with her. When you get the balance right, you just feel so much better!!

Hi ladies
Sorry for being so quite. The little man decided to make his appearance on the 24th at 02:30. He weighed 2,89kg and 50cm. It was a very short and extremely intense labour. Was hectic. We came home on Christmas day.

He is doing well and breastfeeding like a pro.i have plenty of milk so that is awesome.i am just stuggeling to get him to sleep,he only sleeps at night if I put him on my chest otherwise he screams non stop.so I am a zombie at the moment.but every day is getting better.shame he probably misses being inside.

Hi ladies, all good my side thanks. Just had follow up with doc and officially finished with that part of the process. Moved house yesterday and then madam gave us the worst nights sleep last night... sheesh! Definitely need to catch a nap today.

Still trying to get our balance with everything and we are learning as we are going along being first time parents. It’s tough but we made the first 8 days... LOL! My breasts are rather tender too... lots of milk and getting a bit congested. Going to maybe try the cabbage leaf thing as everyone swears by it.

Sitting in the early morning sun for a bit with little bubs. She has some slight jaundice - trying to avoid hospital again, so feeding her a lot at this stage. Boobies hurting a bit as a result.

Hi ladies,

Little Alexis was born on Wednesday weighing in at 3.28kg and 47cm. All healthy and good and we are all trying to adjust to our new lives. We leave hospital tomorrow which I can’t wait for.
