Hi Ladies

jooste, I have to still wash all the clothes, Do you have to hand wash or can i do gentle wash in washing machine. I also think my back wont cope.
The flu sounds terrible, hope you feel better soon. Hopefully doc does not have to cut, sounds like a terrible experience.

AFM, I am still feeling good. The frequent getting up at night is a pain and pain when turning in bed, but I'll survive. Cant wait to finish off. Planning to finish 1 Dec instead of 15 Dec.

Reef how are you doing?

Hi everyone

Pinky
I am glad your scan went so well and that the weight is over 2kg's now. Always feels kinda relieve when they reach that golden 2kg mark. I still have loads to do with regards to the nursery. All the clothes are washed and packed, but I have not packed our bags and I want to wash the carpet before rearranging the furniture. And...obviously - I cannot do the washing myself. My back will kill me. So DH needs to jump in and do it, and he is so busy over weekends with work projects. But this weekend...it is it! It should happen.

Reef? Doing okay?

AFM
I had a very bad case of tummy flu last week. Was in bed for two days vomiting and spending time in the toilet ! Felt horrible. And...just as I manage to get going again, I realized that all the time in the toilet led to hemorrhoids! (OUCH!!) It is very painful and I need to see the GP later today. I spoke to him over the telephone and he first want to see it (ai tog!), before prescribing something, as he thinks that by my description of the pain and extreme burning I am experiencing that there might be a blood clot in the hemorrhoid. And if so...he will need to cut it!:pinch: :mooning: :S

I will not able to handle any more pain - at the moment I am grinding my teeth when trying to sit or during walking.

Hi ladies
Sorry for being so scarce - but have been so busy at work. I have decided to stop working on the 24th of November and that means that I will be very busy until then. Would have honestly just wanted to stop working now - but for me ....no work...means no pay.

Pinky:
I have also noticed a bit of swelling in my feet near the end of the day, but I swear by the Epsom salt baths - after my bath - I can see it is better. I also had my stork tea. It was lovely and so nice to receive some TLC from my friends and family.

AFM
Had my 32 week appointment yesterday. She is weighing in at a whopping 2.4kg and the fetal specialist suspect that she will rock the scales around 3.7kg if we deliver at 39 weeks. She is really very big!?? They did a glucose test, but all is normal, so she is just big it seems. I will really look at my diet very carefully during the next 7 weeks as I do not want to pick up any more weight. I will battle too much losing it afterwards. My bed was booked for 15 December and I will be spending time over the next 2 weeks finishing her room.

Hi ladies

How are you all? When are you guys going on maternity leave? I cant wait to go off and just relax. Im going to try and work unill shut down(15 Dec).

I have started struggling with swollen hands and feet, had blood pressure checked and it looks fine, going to doc in week so will ask her about it then.
I have not had the glucose test, looking at your description out it.
The little man is moving around alot and the kicks have almost changed to pushes. I am getting impatient with when my babyshower is. I cant wait.
Do you guys know when yours are?
