Yes!! I am very busy with this little miracle!
She was born on the 15th of December, just before 4pm with a C-section and was rocking the charts at 4.11kg and 55cm!!! She is beautiful (who would not say that of their own children!) - pitch black hair) - lots of it and red lips. Will send a photo later and will update about he C-section. The operation and her birth was just another miracle.....rainbow blessing as she is! (My uterus had already started to open on the previous C-section scars (!!!!) - it was only her amniotic sac that prevented her from pushing through the hole that was developing right at the bottom of my uterus.

We also sterilized during the C-section (my heart is so sore about that!) - but we cannot risk another pregnancy.

Thankful, thankful, thankful!!!!!!!

How are you guys doing?
I am waiting for the little man to make appearance, hoping it will be before Christmas.
Have a doctors appointment on Thursday , so hopefully she will be able to tell us if he will be here soon.

hi ladies. the little man is all good.he is 2,8kg and thank goodness I have only picked up his weight in the last 4 weeks.doc wants to see us again in 2 weeks. she is happy for us th go ahead with natural birth,so thats brilliant news.

Hey there everyone

Pinky: Missing you!??

Reef: Yes, it was so scary and even though we know that theoretically she should be fine, I was not keen on the idea of having her spend some time in NICU to ensure optimal functioning of her lungs. At that stage NICU was also full of VERY sick babies with some or other bacterial infection going around in Bloemfontein and the gynie was not enthusiastic to allow me to have a c-section straight-away.

Do you guys also feel rather BIG and uncomfortable now?

We had our 37 week scan yesterday and she was rocking the charts at 3.6kg. I am still on bedrest and on Adalet to control the contractions. So far so good. We are hopeful to get to the 39 week mark and only then do the c-section. The nursery is like 95% finished. The scare last week Monday, led me move into overdrive upon my return and I finished as much as possible. Need a few things here or there, but mainly it is cosmetic things - all the necessities are in place.
