@Jay-Bee, I know its actually so sad. But I really hope that my hubby can find a decent job that will allow him to. He really deserves a better job.

I have been googling trying to find some information on this and it is very overwhelming. I don't know of anyone who have used them so I am not sure which nappy type would be best. I am thinking that I will be trying a starter pack first and see how it goes but I will have disposable nappies as backup just in case.

Where are you buying them from Jay-Bee?

@ Reece, companies don't really worry about paternity leave and yes it would be great if our partners can be home for that time.

I am also going to be using cloth for this baby but never used it with my first. Going to be using flats and pockets.

Chanti, I have never considered the cloth nappies but I'm quite intrigued by it now. Do you have details or a website that you can send me so I can have a look? I also heard they are quite expensive?

So happy to hear you kept the baby things, now you can have fun taking it out and decorating. :-)

Well hubby and I hope it could be a boy, but a girl would be great too.

The thirst at night is something else, everytime I wake up to go to the bathroom, I have to drink water. I thought it was just me.

@Reese25 I'm sorry to hear about DH's work. Some companies really don't care, hoping he gets something else soon

I did hear about the paternity leave but unfortunately my hubby's work already told him that he will not be getting it even if it's legal. They break a lot of laws in that place. They don't even get leave during the year and with him being so extremely busy he can even get a few hours off work to do anything otherwise he has to work longer hours to catch up.
But we are praying that he gets a new job soon. We have been looking so just waiting patiently.

It would be so awesome to have him at home for 10 days helping me.

@ Reece, thank you for the calming words and you are so right. Ooh ice cold water is divine. I hear you about the bathroom trips as I am constantly getting up and drink a sports bottle filled with water during the night too.

Hubs loves our little girl and he would like another one but I wouldn't mind a boy. Everyone keeps saying to him and me that we must have a boy as its the best to have a pigeon pair. It's not like we can choose and people should just shush about telling us what genders to have!

Wow one week left, that is so exciting! Holding fingers and thumbs crossed that there is a little boy in there, soo cute. Hubby only went with me for the main scans and not everyone that I went to. Did you hear that dad's now get 10 days paid paternity leave?

@Sparky, sorry to hear about your loss. I am sure this is going to be a healthy baby for you.

@Jay, the nausea is much better. I make sure I have a variety of fruit and snack bars in case my sugar level drops. I drink anything! Seem to enjoy a cup of milk every now and again, but no coffee and tea. I also enjoy my ice cold water. The thirst is so bad during the night and the bathroom trips have gone from maybe 2 to about 5-6!!!

So sorry to hear about the nightmare! Just remember that whatever we worry about we normally dream about. I have had numerous dreams of hubby leaving me or cheating on me with another women and its normally someone I know! It's really horrible, but I know it's because I feel insecure about gaining weight etc. We have always been very active and healthy.
I also dream of having 2 girls and hubby being so sad and people mocking him. It's not a nice feeling.

If you don't have any bleeding or severe cramping then I think you shouldn't worry. It's normal for us mommies to worry about these things but there is nothing we can do about it anyway. I have had numerous days where I don't feel pregnant at all, and me having not many symptoms while everyone keeps telling me that with twins its suppose to be worse, I do worry, but if I feel okay, then I know God is giving me a break and he is blessing me. So take one day at a time...

I have a week to go before I might find out the gender. I didn't tell hubby because I would like to prepare myself in case it is 2 girls. He will be going with me to the 18th week scan though for the official gender scan. He doesn't go with me to any of the other scans, never have with my previous pregnancies either. He doesn't like it and he is only going to the 18th week one because our doc asked for him to be there.
He is very different when it comes to things like this. :-)
