Morning ladies, it really is so exciting to see the scan photo's and if you think about it, ppl have only been able to get scan photo's of babies for maybe 15 or so years, before it was more just the doppler and measurements of the tummy and all that stuff. Really amazing to thing what medical science has done for us.
@Jay-bee - also did the baby dust method, for the girl try (i'm sure you know) it is once, 2-3 days before you ovulate, we were on our 6th month of TTC when I got pregnant (there were two months in there that we went the IUI route to see if we can get a girl but I did not get pregnant either time). I was starting to lose hope a bit and was going to go for just having a baby when I got pregnant, didnt honestly think I would get pregnant when I did, I thought my ovulation was out by a day (further). I used a different kind of OPK and they were TERRIBLE, I am pretty sure I still was able to pick up the surge, but not 100% sure and based off of CM, I think I ovulated a day later. If I ovulated a day later it would be more like 3-3.5 days away from ovulation that we BD'd. Lots of ladies on that group said 4+ days away and they got a boy, so will really have to see. But I think I ovulated later in the night of the 2nd day so that would be perfectly smack dab in the middle of 2-3 days. Anyway, I have my NT scan tomorrow and they are pretty damn good with nub shots there to tell you what you are having so we will see then what goes for what. I am nervous as hell TBH.
How are you ladies sleeping? I seem to fall asleep pretty quickly but then I sleep so light, i wake up at the slightest of movement or sound and it then takes me ages to go back to sleep. My husband likes to cuddle and as soon as he touches me I am wide awake and then listening to him sleep just pisses me off.
Anyway, so this weekend, my youngest (he will be 2 in Feb) when he was supposed to have his afternoon nap was just talking away, so I went to him only to find that he had a pooh nappy and had gotten some pooh out of the nappy and had rubbed it EVERYWHERE, in his hair, his legs, over his tummy, on the walls, all over the bedding, his crib, literally everywhere, so cleaned him up and then tried to get him to sleep again. This morning, same thing. Maybe not to the extent it was over the weekend, but still to the point where I had to go wash him off and I just think to myself...I am doing this all over again...got a bit of a oh sh!t moment there, but got over myself quickly...do you ladies get that?
