Morning Ladies!

@Jay - I will gladly change it, will make it July/August/September as a few of us are just on the edge and can go either way. I have no come to the conclusion I think my boep is between bloat and baby boep

@Sparky - welcome and congratulations! So glad you got to see your little one at your scan, so amazing hey!

@Reese- Ah I cant wait to hear what the genders are :woohoo: That is a little weird that they didnt do the usual checks on the scan at 12 weeks... unless twins make it a little more difficult and they wait until they are a little older? I find doctors wing it most of the time and dont actually have set parameters to work by. I'm sorry that the nausea and vomiting is back :( Are you able to stay hydrated atleast? I hope it ends soon for you!!

@Carien - I believe the northern lights are phenomonal!! How lucky for them! Your meal sounds mouth watering.... mm.. Do they know about your pregnancy?

AFM, not much on this side, just struggling with keeping my tummy regular and that leaves me feeling absolutely awful! I think its safe to safe we are all a little nervous about the screening tests done around this time and I pray each little baby is completely healthy and perfect :)

Welcome @Sparky! Congrats on your pregnancy. So happy to hear your first scan went well and baby is healthy. :-)
Oh yes, the morning sickness and no appetite is common. You will get through it. Did your doc not give you something for the nausea?

Is this your first baby? Are you hoping for a specific gender?

Evening ladies. I am a bit of a late joiner to this conversation, but I wanted to wait until my first visit at the doc to be sure. So, I got my BFP on 22 Dec, and expected due date is 31 August. Saw our little bean yesterday and all looks well with a heart rate of 170 bpm. Scan placed baby at 7w2d. I'm suffering from morning sickness daily and struggling to eat practically anything at this stage.

@ Reece, that's just around the corner so exciting. I have months to wait and I am not a very patient person. I wouldn't worry at all as your babies are so healthy and even feisty. I hope that you feel better soon and the nausea/vomiting subsides.

@Jay, I will be going on 24th Jan at exactly 14 weeks. I'm really hoping that I can see gender. I am also doing the full diagnostic testing to check the nuchal fold etc. I phoned my doc about not doing the down's syndrome testing this morning and apparently she said that my previous blood results were normal and that they will only be doing the next rounds of bloods at the 18 week scan and it will still be fine.
I remember that with my previous girls they measured the nuchal fold and check the presence of nasal bone, but nothing this time.

Anyways, I am not going to worry about it. I will find out next week.
So I spoke to soon saying that I feel great! I started vomiting again and just cant eat anything even though I am hungry. Not in the mood for anything.

@ Reece, yes the wait is terrible and I am also hoping to go for a 4D scan as hear great things about them. When are you planning to go?

@ Carien, sorry only saw your message now. Jum your food sound gourmet and delicious. The age thing stresses me out a little too as I am turning 40 in October but as Reece says, just have happy thoughts.

Carien, they are all over as far as I know. I haven't been there before either but my friend who also had her baby recently have been going every month because apparently they spend a lot of time and effort to check health of baby etc.

I cannot wait another 5 weeks to hear gender so I want to do it asap.
