Chanti that wonderful! So happy to hear! Congrats on 7 weeks! I can also eat egg on toast some days even for supper otherwise it is pronutro! :-)
I will be going to my original gynea for the first time today. She doesn't know that I am pregnant with twins so we'll see.
I will try and update you as soon as I have been. I just need to remember my password so I can do it on my phone.

Hubby is so excited because we are taking our car in today for trade in on a 7 seater Everest! I have to say that my husband LOVES his cars. And he is taking it quite okay to trade in his sports model as well. So we'll see what happens.

Hey ladies!

@Reese - your cravings are so funny!! I must admit I was actually able to eat scrambled egg on toast for breakfast! Thankfully not feeling too horrid today. Fingers are crossed for your scan!

So my scan went really well ? we heard the heartbeat and baby is measuring perfectly on time, I am 7 weeks today! Next scan is at 10 weeks with the gynae I will hopefully stay with. My specialist doesn't take on pregnancy until the end. Please update us today on yours xxx

Good morning Ladies

What a rollercoaster year this has been for me and my family! A lot of difficult moments and also luckily a lot of laughs and surprises. I have to say that I am so happy this year has come to an end almost.

Work has been extremely difficult and stressful and I am so happy this is my last day for the year. :-) I am looking forward to spending time with my hubby and my two beautiful girls.

@Chanti - I really hope you give us some feedback on your scan before I go. I hope it all went well and baby is doing good.

Well from me... it was such a wonderful time to spend with you ladies and go through some of these emotions and feelings I have experienced so far. and I am looking forward to next year.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and may you all be blessed out of your socks!

Enjoy!

Morning Ladies

@Chanti - I really wished I could eat salty crackers for the nausea but I cannot even get it close to my mouth. I have to say that yesterday was a good day. I actually ate a small plate of chicken a la king last night. It was so good! :P And I had my first cup of decaf coffee without wanting to gag. So I think it is good.

@Chanti - I know coke it not good at all and luckily with this pregnancy I cannot eat or drink things more than a few times before I'm over it. So Coke is a thing of the past again and I am on Milk and sometimes Fanta Grape. I also try and drink lots of water.

I will be 8w4d at my scan tomorrow according to the first scan measurements.

What time is your scan today Chanti? So excited!

@Reese - Well done for eating the muesli and yoghurt...Now I feel like some!!! I am pretty much eating salty crackers for breakfast to help me flatten some of the nausea. I haven't been eating junk food but have certainly eaten a bit more carbs this week because of the nausea. i'm okay from about mid morning thankfully. I think the cramping and pulling is definitely a normal thing. I don't know how you ladies cope with kids, I was sitting on the couch this morning holding onto my salty crackers and feeling dreadful and thinking oh my goodness... Imagine trying to get kids ready right now too  Well done to you ladies for still being good mom's while growing another little life!!! Oh be careful of too much coke! The caffeine in it isnt good for you, maybe try something like fanta or something without the caffeine. Sorry... I'm pretty strict with limiting all of the warning items... so terrified after the mc's so ignore me if I sound like a pain in the A! :woohoo:

Yay ladies, the scans are as follows:

Chanty - 14/12 (On my wedding anniversary!) 6w6d
Reese - 15/12 (How many weeks? 9?)
Carien - 20/12 7w1d

Hi Ladies,

It seems that all is going well! :-) So glad to hear.
I am forcing myself to eat muesli and yogurt every morning to help with the constipation. @Chanti - I am going to try and juice the fruit and veggies as you suggested. The only thing is that I cannot eat or drink much! I feel hungry sometimes but when I start to eat, I just can't. It's a horrible feeling.

I am also trying to stay with the healthy eating, but the only thing healthy I can stomach at this point is some fruit. I have also noticed that I might be lis for something and then after I have had it, I cannot stand it! It is so funny how it is.

I have also experienced some cramping and pulling feeling especially when I'm sleeping. And I don't know if it is because I am carrying twins or if it is just a normal pregnant thing, but I can feel it on both sides. The tiredness continues...which is sometimes a little difficult with my two girls.

@Carien, at this point I have no pregnancy diet that I can share. My moods for food differs every day and most days I just survive on milk, coke (I hate coke!) and fruit. I cant wait until I can actually start eating properly and healthy again. My pilates is also finished for the year so I will have to do some walking and stretching exercises while on holiday.

Yay ladies, we are almost having our scans! Mine will be on Friday and then I am on leave. So I will probably only be back on the forum again in 2018!
